Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today marks the fifth day of our trip to the southern coast. This is our last day here too, and we are traveling back to Chiang Mai today. We originally planned to take a morning stroll along the beach before heading back to Chiang Mai. However, things didn't go as planned because a monsoon hit and it started pouring rain at 5 AM. So, we had to cancel all of our plans and activities. So it was a rather disappointing final day for us. After a simple breakfast at the resort, we packed our clothes and belongings into our suitcases and set off at around 9:20 AM. The distance back home from Prachuap Khiri Khan to our house in Chiang Mai is still around 1,000-plus kilometers. My wife drives in the morning, with our daughter and granddaughter sitting in the front, while I look after our autistic son in the back. Then, in the afternoon, my wife and I will switch roles. Our travel is significantly delayed, unlike the journey here. Visibility is quite poor due to heavy rain. It has been raining continuously from Prachuap Khiri Khan through Phetchaburi, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon.
When entering Bangkok and Nonthaburi, it wasn't raining. But once we reached Ayutthaya, it started raining. After that, it didn't rain through Ang Thong, Sing Buri, Chai Nat, and Nakhon Sawan—the final province of today's journey. Throughout the entire journey, we did not make any stops other than at gas stations in the provinces we transitioned through for refueling, resting, and consuming lunch and afternoon snacks.
We had dinner at a street food stall in Nakhon Sawan. Afterwards, we drove around looking for a resort to stay overnight. By the time we checked in, it was already dark, so I didn't get a chance to capture the resort's atmosphere. I'll take some photos of the place tomorrow morning before we head out.
This is another post where I didn’t have the time or convenience to take many photos. Aside from driving, I need to look after my autistic son, so there are very few photos. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
