Happy, Playful, and Sleepy Cats
When I got home, I found these two adorable dogs on the ground floor of my building. My husband almost always brings them food; they know him by now. Even so, they weren't expecting food, they just greeted him and one of them started playing around, doing somersaults, while the other groomed himself.

Felinos Felices Juguetones y Soñolientos
Llegando a casa, me encontré en la planta baja de mi edificio estas dos preciosuras. Casi siempre mi esposo les baja comida; ya lo conocen. A pesar de ello, no estaban esperando comida, solo lo saludaron y uno de ellos comenzó a juguetear dando volteretas, mientras que el otro se acicalaba.
It's curious, they were very calm, they didn't seem hungry at all, they were just wandering around, thank goodness. They don't lack anything, they're well cared for, even though they're strays; the people in this building give them food and others let them stay in their rooms at night. I love it because I sense that people are more sensitive and have a growing love for stray cats; they value their presence and seek to care for and protect them.
Es curioso, estaban muy tranquilos, no se sentía que estuvieran hambrientos, solo merodeaban por el lugar, gracias a Dios. No les hace falta nada, están bien cuidados, aunque son de la calle; las personas de este edificio les dan comida y hay otras que les brindan sus aposentos en la noche. Me encanta porque percibo que la gente tiene más sensibilidad y un creciente amor hacia los felinos callejeros, valoran su presencia y buscan cuidarlos y protegerlos.
It's common to see how the community comes together and organizes to sterilize them so they can have a better life; there are always sensitive people who dedicate themselves to their care, and I can appreciate it in these two grooming each other and not meowing.
Es común ver cómo la comunidad se aboca y cómo se organizan para esterilizarlos para que tengan un mejor vivir; siempre hay gente sensible que se dedica a su cuidado, y puedo apreciarlo en estos dos acicalándose y no maullando.
Then I had to go back down to the avenue to buy some groceries, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of the vendor, who was dozing off at the counter; I didn't want to disturb him. As long as I can see them healthy, I'm okay.
Luego tuve que bajar de nuevo a la avenida a comprar algunos víveres y no pude resistir tomarle una foto al vendedor, que estaba durmiéndose en el mostrador; no quise molestarlo. Mientras que pueda verlos sanos, me siento bien.
