Plus: Bitcoin Falls 7.3% Through October, Polygon Links Solana Stablecoins to US Banks
Good Morning Lions,
Institutions pulled money out of both spot ETF complexes last month, and Ether took the worse beating by a mile. I think that explains the dead Uptober better than any seasonal chart does. BUT, the builders didn't slow down at all.. Polygon, the HKMA and a copper token on Etherlink all pushed stablecoin and tokenization rails forward. Flows decide price this quarter. Rails take longer to show up.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs Log October Outflow
TL;DR: US spot Bitcoin ETFs finished October with $515 million in net outflows, their first negative month since June, according to SoSoValue data. The month closed with a $643 million exit on Friday. Spot Ether ETFs posted a record $1.61 billion monthly outflow over the same period.
Bitcoin Falls 7.3% Through October
TL;DR: Bitcoin fell 7.3% in October 2026, according to CoinGlass data, after a roughly 4% drop in the same month a year earlier. Analysts say smaller price swings and institutional flows are weakening the seasonal pattern traders call Uptober.
Polygon Links Solana Stablecoins to US Banks
TL;DR: Polygon's Open Money Stack now connects Solana stablecoins to US banking rails for eligible overseas businesses, CryptoSlate reported. The service is in early access, and participating firms must pass KYB and KYC checks.
HKMA Moves EnsembleTX to 24/7 Settlement
TL;DR: The Hong Kong Monetary Authority said its EnsembleTX project now supports 24/7 real-value transactions. The HKMA also plans to add regulated stablecoins to its tokenized Exchange Fund Bills trials. Separately, HSBC's CEO said RedCoin has 50,000 users.
XRP Ledger New Accounts Jump 33%
TL;DR: The XRP Ledger added 7,734 new accounts on November 1, up 33% from the previous day, according to XRPScan data reported by U.Today. Over the same stretch, XRP traded near $1.25, below several major moving averages.
Metals IO Tokenizes 25 Tonnes of Copper
TL;DR: Metals IO issued 25,000 xCu tokens on Etherlink, with each token representing one kilogram of refined copper held in Hamburg. Crypto Briefing described the 25-tonne launch as a deliberate test run for bringing copper exposure to retail investors.
G_Bionics Runs Humanoid Robot on Tether QVAC
TL;DR: G_Bionics showed a humanoid robot running Tether's QVAC local AI platform at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, Crypto Briefing reported. No independently verified performance metrics were published for the demo.
If spot BTC ETFs flip back to net inflows in the first week of November, October looks like a one-month flush. If Ether funds keep bleeding, a small green day at $2,284 doesn't change much, frens 🦁 — Khal
