I hope so you all are doing well 😀
Mostly people getting bored from series as they think it's too long and take too much time and they prefer to watch movies which can end in 2 to 3 hours but I'm opposite in thix case as i love to watched movies but i enjoyed series too as they keep me engaged with the story.
As you know I'm watching The last kingdom which is about to finished now but still have a story to complete. Today I'll discuss the major events of Season 4 as this season is little different to watch because we can see a change in Uhtred Alliances but it's a story of loss and Gain again.
Uhtred's Fight for Bebbenburg!!!
At the start of the season Uhtred thinks now thing's are better at Winchester so he should go back to fight and fight for Bebbenburg to get back what is his. And as he hasn't any army so he asked from King Edward to give him 1000 Men to fight on Bebbenburg and he reject to help him by saying This is not the right time.
Here I feel sad for Uhtred like he helped him when he needs and Edward simple reject to help.
But Uhtred and his man find a way to fight to back the Bebbenburg and Uhtred asked for help to his Son but his son isn't fond of him because Alfred wash his brain which now Uhtred have to suffer but hos son agree to help him. Only ten men go to fight for Bebbenburg which is obviously not look like a good deal.
We make plans but it doesn't mean things always happens according to our plans and so happened with Uhtred because when they reach to Bebbenburg his uncle's son come in front to fight and even he killed his own father and claim to be the Lord of Bebbenburg and Uhtred wasn't ready to faced this so he have to retreat.

Emotional moments for Uhtred!!!
He doesn't hurt much because he can't get back his homeland but the thing which hurt him the most is the death of Father Beaoca as he died during fighting by saving Uhtred Son's life. Father Beaoca was a Holy man but he have to leave his body where nobody knows him and Uhtred know he's the man who always there to support Uhtred and to Uhtred he's his whole family.
After the death of Father Beaoca, Uhtred seems emotional like now he doesn't even want to fight for anything, he thinks he lost everything and there's no reason to live because there's no home for Uhtred as mo one will waiting and support him after Father Beaoca.

Uhtred's Man or friends!!
In this season, i really like the roles if Uhtred friend who always there to help him even Uhtred can't give them anything like silver or Land but they serve Uhtred. They talk happily and support him every time and sometimes become his hope too. Those four men's of Uhtred are the symbol of true friendship and loyality which Seems lovely.
Lady Aethelflead story!!!
Lady Aethelflead which is king Alfred daughter has major role in this season again as his husband is going to die and people suggest that they find a suitable match for Aethelflead daughter which will become the Lord of Mercia but she's too young to Mary and this time Lady Aethelflead has to show herself again that she can't give her daughter to humiliate after marriage just like she was humiliated by her husband.

So, she successfully saved her daughter with the Uhtred help hehehe Uhtred always there to support her because of a love connection with respect in both of them. King Edward decides that Uhtred will become the New Lord of Mercia but Lady Aethelflead think Uhtred is a good Man but not good for Mercia and she told this to Uhtred too. Uhtred make his mind and with his help A lady become a Lord of Mercia.
People of witen doesn't want a Lady to rule but at last she become a Lady of Mercia and that scene was so beautiful when she's walking on the road.
Eidth's role!!!
Eidth is actually new in this season as she's the Aethalred mistress who remain with him, while people say she's a whore and her brother wants to become the king of Mercia after death of Aethalred. When she saw that her brother is a man of ambition and only do what he wants and he using her own sister too.

So, Eidth took a stand for herself and he leave her brother because he's not a good man a start to help Uhtred and Lady Aethelflead to save the Mercia. I like her bravery because she's the one who save them many times and choose wisely and i really want a good end of her story in next season but let's see.
Uhtred's daughter!!!
With New role of Eidth, Uhtred daughter who's about 16 or 17, she seems very clever like her father and she's the girl who knows how to handle the situation just like her Dad knows Seems like she got her Dad traits but her role was also entertaining.

Final thoughts!!!
Every season is different from other, although it's about love, war and revenge but it becomes interesting with the season move forward. Next season will last and I want that Uhtred get his Bebbenburg back but now he start to think Bebbenburg isn't his destiny and that's why he failed every time but i want that spirit of getting is back arise again and they'll do a good ending just like the whole season was good.
