For me childhood was the time of the importance and playfulness with the words that were given to understand the meaning of life and the worldly realities in every possible aspect by parents and Sunday school teachers with lot of moral lessons about faith, courage, obedience, kindness, outcomes of every deed etc. Bible stories like that ofNoah,David & Goliath, Moses, Daniel and many more was not mere amusement it molded me to belive in the almighty almighty as real being and it impact my present perception on reality even today.
As a kid I did trust, all the individuals those who narrated stories to me. By parents and teachers assured me that every words mentioned in Bible were true and my belief was so strong that made God seem very real, and it also added me the reason to think why I being the God creation. Those stories made my understandings more sense at those undefinable experiences which the childhood did not explain me.
They showed a bigger power that exists around me which I thought that life has a purpose to live and make the reality more understandable and tangible with the utmost of thought process.
My childhood understanding of what is true and reality is always and forever has molded my adulthood way of perceive on reality. I do not forget these stories anymore. They are a vital source for my identity, although I might have a capacity to know how each teaching is portrayed in a new manner by individuals these values can’t be diminished at all!
The Bible stories of my childhood always give meaning to reality even after understanding that one may receive differently but what remains indelible is that morality/ethical concepts does not mean seeing things in an absolute physical matter or what has proved with scientific facts.
My faith is a mode to perceive circumstances, morality, hope and also our life's purpose, because, after all, no life has meaning unless you define the way to learn to perceive, right? It made me to be always thankful to my parents andSunday school teacher who told me so much stories, and so I do always get that particular reason to be glad when I hear this part of myself mentioned about what was made taught to me which is what shaped to my today's existence in this world.
