I don't know if it's normal, but I feel like they don't need me at my job anymore.

Let me give you some context so you can understand how I feel.

I've worked at a pizzeria for almost four years. The owners are my cousins, my cousin and her husband.

They gave me a job, and I'm very grateful. From the day they gave me a place there, I haven't stopped learning and improving. Even a year later, I became so good at my job that they gave me important positions.

I like to feel good in the places I work. If I don't feel good, I don't want to be there, and lately, after almost four years, I feel like they don't want me there anymore. A few months ago, I brought a new coworker, and mind you, she's not related to me at all.

Before she arrived, I was already working alone. My schedule was from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM without a break, without a day off, because I didn't have anyone to cover for me.

One day, my boss had to give birth in another city, and they had to leave for several days. I was left to work alone, without supervision, responsible for my own work and that of my colleagues. The entire burden fell on me: the money, the organization, the customer service, the cleaning—everything. It all came down to me, and I was exhausted, both physically and emotionally. I begged them to find someone to work with me.

When the day finally arrived, we worked with three different people, but none of them wanted the job.

Then the right person came along, and she's been with us for almost four months now.

She's very good, responsible, fast, and intelligent. She supports me, and I support her.

I no longer work every day without a break; quite the opposite. I work a full week, and then only three days the following week, meaning I get four days off every two weeks.

But for about a month now, I've noticed that I'm no longer useful to them. I mean, if I quit, they won't care, and that worries me quite a bit because I feel like I'm in the way.

I don't care what they think of me, whether they want me there or not, but I feel like I'm superfluous to their business, and that's what I mean when I say they don't want me there anymore.

So I've been thinking about quitting, but someone told me it's probably just my imagination, that I'm just tired and making things up in my head. But I don't know; sometimes you feel things like you have a sixth sense, and that's what's happening to me.

So I'd like to know what I should do. Should I quit? Should I wait and see if this feeling passes? I don't know.
