AUTUMN FOREST.jpg

W kadrze #10 trochę to widać.

Będąc aktualnie przytwierdzonym do łóżka w związku z chorobą, mogłem się zatracić w tych kolorach podczas obróbki w Lightroomie i Photoshopie.

Do zobaczenia wkrótce!

The more time I spend with these photos from my recent trip, the more I feel they might be deceiving me. While it’s true that my editing style here leans heavily into warm tones, even the raw, unprocessed files show more autumn color than I recall seeing while walking through those woods. Perhaps that’s because I consciously focused on framing trees that were already showing their fall colors?

Still, it’s not a complete transformation.

Beech forests dominate much of the trail we followed, which was already blanketed in a thick carpet of fallen beech leaves. We love walking on a rustling layer of leaves like that - it’s incredibly relaxing and pleasant, provided they aren’t wet and slippery.

I found it fascinating to see two beech trees, growing right next to each other, looking completely different: one had orange-yellow foliage, while its neighbor remained entirely green. I’d never really considered such a phenomenon before. Unfortunately, I don’t have many photos that capture this well, though you can see a hint of it in frame #10.

Working on these images has been a great pleasure. I decided to experiment, aiming for a more artistic - perhaps even slightly painterly—look. Confined to my bed by illness, I was able to lose myself in these colors while editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. Being sick does have its perks - it’s a chance to finally catch up on some things. Especially since my garden area will soon undergo a major transformation, and I won’t have the time or space for hobby-related pursuits.

See you soon!

Super kadry !
