Saludos queridos hivers, espero estén bien y hayan tenido una semana productiva, hace unos días me entere por las redes sociales que ocurriría un eclipse lunar y que desde mi país Venezuela se iba a poder ver claramente, les conté a mis hijos y se emocionaron mucho, pasaron todo el día investigando sobre este fenómeno y me dijeron que debíamos bajar después de las 12 de la noche, que era la hora que se iba a poder apreciar mas claramente.

Así que una vez que cenamos, nos pusimos a ver una película para estar despiertos hasta la medianoche, una vez que se acercaba la hora buscamos los suéteres para abrigarnos bien, ya que desde hace varios días ha estado lloviznando de noche y la brisa estaba fría; bajamos con algunas galletas y agua para pasar el rato, y pudimos notar en lo que llegamos al estacionamiento que la luna estaba empezando a taparse, reflejando un lado con tono rojizo y del otro lado blanco brillante, tomamos unas fotos para documentar el avance del eclipse, que poco a poco iba cubriéndose de oscuridad.

El cielo estaba claro como nunca, se veía despejado y casi no se distinguían las estrellas, o por lo menos yo no las vi, nuestras miradas estaban centradas en el avance lento pero constante de este eclipse que tomo aproximadamente 40 minutos para alcanzar cubrir totalmente nuestro satélite natural, varios vecinos bajaron con sus hijos también a observar el cielo, pudiendo intercambiar con ellos nuestras apreciaciones.

Greetings, dear Hivers; I hope you are well and have had a productive week. A few days ago, I learned via social media that a lunar eclipse was going to occur and would be clearly visible from my country, Venezuela. I told my children, and they were very excited; they spent the whole day researching the phenomenon and told me we needed to go downstairs after midnight, as that was when it would be best viewed.

So, after dinner, we watched a movie to stay awake until midnight. As the time approached, we grabbed sweaters to bundle up, since it had been drizzling at night for several days and the breeze was chilly. We went downstairs with some cookies and water to pass the time. Upon reaching the parking lot, we noticed the moon was beginning to be obscured, showing a reddish hue on one side and a bright white glow on the other. We took photos to document the eclipse's progress as it was gradually enveloped in darkness.

The sky was exceptionally clear; it looked vast, and the stars were barely distinguishable or at least I did not see them. Our eyes were fixed on the slow but steady progression of the eclipse, which took about 40 minutes to fully cover our natural satellite. Several neighbors also came down with their children to watch the sky, allowing us to share our observations with one another.
