Feliz de saludarlos queridos padres de @motherhood, es un gusto para mi compartirles los que fue el cumpleaños feliz de mi hijo mayor, quien arribo a sus 14 años, los cuales a mi parecer pasaron en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, hoy al verlo convertido en todo un adolescente estudioso y responsable, me hace sentir un orgullo muy grande el ser su madre.

Les cuento que a pesar que me había preparado psicológicamente para lidiar con la rebeldía propia de la edad, mi hijo se ha mantenido fiel a su personalidad amorosa, colaborador en casa y sobre todo sigue demostrando si infinita paciencia con su hermano, quien anda detrás de el queriendo jugar, conversar, ver una animación juntos, o simplemente pedirle uno o dos favores en cuanto algún juego en la computadora, él lo atiende y le dedica tiempo a su hermanito quien le lleva 5 años, y esta en la edad que quiere saber y hacer todo por si mismo; que para serle sincera a mi me lleva al trote, ja, ja, ja.

Por lo que me siento afortunada que se lleven tan bien, en fin ese día su tía le preparo una deliciosa torta de chocolate marmoleada, y yo le prepare su quesillo favorito que es el de café, y aunque el agasajo fue sencillo, estuvo lleno de mucho amor de todos los que lo queremos y amamos, les cuento que desde que su primer añito sus cumpleaños vienen con lluvia, no se porque, pero es una fija que llueva ese día en la ciudad y este año no fue la excepción, siendo un aspecto que me ha llamado poderosamente la atención pero bueno, eso nos ha servido para preparar todo el día anterior y tener la previsión de contar con todo lo necesario en casa por si después se nos hace difícil salir por la lluvia, en fin menos mal que este año fue solo una llovizna que refresco la tarde, por lo que luego de cantarle su cumple salió al cine con sus amigos del colegio, que lo estaban esperando en el "Centro Comercial Marina Plaza".

Una de las cosas que el quería este año es hacerle mejoras a su computadora, por lo que decidí darle el dinero como regalo para que sea el mismo que vaya a comprar las piezas que necesita, porque de eso yo no se mucho, así que quedo mas que contento con su obsequio, ya que finalmente podrá actualizar el sistema operativo con unas tarjetas graficas y de memoria que necesitaba.

*Como siempre un gusto compartirles mis vivencias, deseándoles que en sus hogares siempre reine la felicidad y armonía entre todos, bendiciones infinitas para sus pequeños, y les recuerdo que los regalos mas grandes que le podemos dar a nuestros hijos son los valores que inculcamos en ellos para se convierten en hombre y mujeres de bien, hasta una nueva oportunidad.

Greetings, dear parents of @motherhood! It is a pleasure to share the story of my eldest son's birthday with you. He turned 14 years that, to me, flew by in the blink of an eye. Seeing him grow into such a studious and responsible teenager fills me with immense pride as his mother.

I had mentally prepared myself to deal with the typical rebelliousness of this age, but my son has remained true to his loving personality. He is helpful around the house and, above all, continues to show infinite patience with his younger brother. His little brother is always following him around—wanting to play, chat, watch cartoons together, or simply ask for a favor regarding a computer game. He always attends to him and makes time for his little brother, who is five years his junior and at that age where he wants to know and do everything for himself—something that, to be honest, keeps me constantly on the run!.

I feel so lucky that they get along so well. Anyway, for the big day, his aunt made a delicious marbled chocolate cake, and I prepared his favorite quesillo (flan)—coffee flavored. Although the celebration was simple, it was filled with love from everyone who cares about him. Interestingly, it has rained on his birthday every year since his very first one; I don't know why, but it’s a sure thing in our city, and this year was no exception. It’s something that has really caught my attention, but it has taught us to prepare everything the day before and ensure we have everything we need at home, just in case the rain makes it hard to go out later.

Fortunately, this year it was just a light drizzle that cooled down the afternoon, so after we sang "Happy Birthday," he went to the movies with his school friends, who were waiting for him at the Marina Plaza Shopping Center. One of the things he wanted this year was to upgrade his computer, so I decided to give him the money as a gift so he could buy the necessary parts himself since I don't know much about that sort of thing. He was absolutely delighted with the gift, as he’ll finally be able to upgrade the system with the graphics and memory cards he needed.
