Learning to stop treating some of my ventures as a hobby.....
Do I have a job? If you ask me at 8 a.m, I'll say yes. My phone typically buzz with a call from my boss, who tells me to attend a meeting with either a government ministry or some other corporations. We call this, a "Stakeholder Engagement". But in the background, I have to deal with backlogs of document to be revised and be sent to its respective clients. In the midst of all that, I open Hive, curate as well as pulling my brain to find more students.
And if you ask me what's in my wallet and the answer is nothing. Just like yesterday when I couldn't even afford to keep the lights in my house running or the laptop charged but I was grateful that some items I put up for sale was sold. So, I can somewhat breath. Recently, I keep improving the courses that I have and its materials. Nowadays I utilize Google Classroom and just a couple hours ago and created a landing page for it which is still work in progress.
Despite not having electricity the other day, I was able to get some work done before my laptop shut down. As the rest of the day, there weren't many things I could do. Since today was a business as usual, I try to catch up with everything.
How many hours do I work in a day? Typically from 10 AM to 12 AM with twice break during lunch and dinner. Sometimes I work from cafe for more than 4 hours at a time but these days, unless my cafe expenses is paid by the office, I'd work from home.
Also, the other day reflection really helps me to think about all the ventures I have, so thanks @ph1102 for inspiring me to finally create a website and grow my current English course (among all of my ventures, this one is low entry-barrier for me). I have also better the way I teach and the sets of the materials.

As seen above, I still have on-going batches. Now, I think I have more reason to up the price because I offer better teaching style and better materials etc. In the past, I didn't want to charge more because I wasn't so efficient with it and was doing for fun. But now, if I can be serious and still have fun with it, why not?
There are some assessment for potential students as well that I have created through google forms. Since this is a low-cost options but certainly, I'll get better tools once my life a little sort out.
I also organize some fun activities but recently, I have so many backlogs that needed to be taken care of. Thankfully, I finally get an access to high quality coffee paid by the office 😁which helps me work better and more importantly at faster speed than my normal speed.
See you around!
