Some people spend their entire lives in a state of hibernation, unaware of what is happening around them or what they are capable of achieving—and life slips away in the blink of an eye. They may not even realize they are alive, as if they had remained in their mother’s womb; fear keeps them from moving forward. They never awaken spiritually, nor do they see new horizons or opportunities. Perhaps I’m being a bit dramatic—oh la la!—but as the saying goes:

“A shrimp that falls asleep gets swept away by the current.” Believe it or not, the current sweeps away everything in its path; if you don’t “keep your eyes peeled”—if you don’t pay attention to what’s happening around you—you end up all alone and isolated. Grandma Bertita tended to exaggerate a bit and was prone to alarmism. Whenever I’d find myself lost in thought, staring off toward the horizon, she would say: “Oh, you girl!” There is nothing wrong or negative about dreaming; for me, my "cloud" has always served as a space to reflect, plan, and map out my strategies. "My moves are coldly calculated," as El Chapulín Colorado used to say. In my cloud, I keep my great mentors—gurus, coaches, and teachers of light—including the likes of Grasshopper, Yoda, and Professor Dumbledore. They offer me guidance whenever I lose my way, helping me get back on the right path. I believe we have all gone through strange phases—or even fleeting moments—in life where we lose our sense of orientation, not knowing which way is up or down. At such times, the best thing to do is to stand still and say, “Stop,” until we find our center again and can continue along our intended path. When I feel this way, I connect with nature or look up at the sky to reorient myself. I’m not sure if this counts as seeking out my spiritual side or finding balance, but it does me a world of good. Sometimes, simply surrounding myself with nature—with the green of the foliage—or watching a hummingbird in flight helps reawaken my spiritual side. In nature, we also observe the changing of the seasons—winter, spring, summer, and autumn—as well as the cycles essential to life, such as the water cycle. Plants sprout, shed their leaves, reproduce, and die; it is a beautiful garden where every human being can experience a spiritual rebirth. A mystical garden, where my soul blossoms and the wounds of the heart are healed. With the change of seasons, the planet renews itself; among these phases, spring symbolizes rebirth, spiritual seeking, and consciousness—above all, the expansion of the heart and soul. Yet, as I mentioned earlier, some remain trapped in darkness. Human beings need to grow spiritually in order to let go rather than cling; they must release the things that cause them to vibrate at a low frequency. Anuar Ayoub published an article on the website talentoempresarialmagazine.com titled “The Spiritual Meaning of Spring,” in which he states:

“The beginning of spring marks a significant moment on a spiritual level. We experience changes comparable to the seasons, which are linked to our stages of development and evolution...” For more information, visit aquí Some people might wonder what the point is of evolving and growing spiritually. This is understandable, given that we live in a worldly society—one rife with prejudice—where it hardly matters who you are or how you feel. As long as you dress well, have a nice home, and hold a job, you are viewed primarily as a consumer—and that is what counts, because you generate income. Nevertheless, it is important to recognize that we must also value who we are on the inside—the human dimension that allows us to heal the wounds of the soul, the heart, and the body. The inner light we need to vibrate at a high frequency, to become more empathetic, and to love both ourselves and others—as well as the world around us and nature itself. I believe it is important to achieve a balance between these different aspects, as any imbalance affects the individual—impacting their emotions, feelings, and mental health, among other things. The spiritual quest is a vast and controversial subject; I simply wish to emphasize its connection to spring, nature, and beauty. Spring is a time of transformation and renewal—essential for achieving well-being and feeling good about ourselves. Above all, it allows us to smile, gladden the soul, heal a wounded heart, create memories, and release "happiness hormones" that help us vibrate at a higher frequency. It also enables us to improve our surroundings and help heal the planet. It even makes me want to sing and dance alongside the butterflies and hummingbirds in the garden. In my country, beautiful Venezuela, the four seasons are not a prominent feature due to its location; instead, there are two distinct periods: the rainy season and the dry season. Nevertheless, in the month of March, the air begins to take on a spring-like quality, and the trees in my garden become adorned with blossoms—the pumalaca tree, in particular, bursts into a vibrant display of color. As the rainy season begins, it brings joy to my life; everything around me blooms, helping to renew my hopes for tomorrow. There you have it!

What does spiritual rebirth mean for a human being?

The subject of spirituality is vast and open to many differing points of view. In my own view, the process of examining oneself, recognizing who one is, and questioning one’s past actions is a way to let go, achieve balance, and—often—become more empathetic toward the world around us and more accepting of people as they are. The goal is to find peace and to realize that there is a whole life out there—one that doesn’t wait. If we miss the train, we’re screwed—as the parrot once said. Springtime passes us by, opportunities slip away, and we’re left just looking around, wondering what happened. Some might question my outlook on life; yet, life is also meant to be enjoyed—it’s not just about work, routine, and responsibilities. Friends of #EmpowerTalent, have you ever questioned the way you are or the way you view life? Are you truly happy, doing what you love—or are you, instead, going through life doing what others want you to do? This is what the spiritual dimension is all about: it concerns who you wish to become and what you truly long for—that essential part of you that fills the void in your soul and keeps you from raising your vibrations. Ultimately, we must set aside the mundane aspects of life and focus on personal growth, connecting with nature, creating moments that shape our life story, traveling, and seeking out things that bring joy to our days. After all, achieving balance is what we all long for. Remember: never stop dreaming, and never stop drifting away on your own cloud. “They may cut all the flowers, but they cannot stop the spring.” (Pablo Neruda) Like the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, many other poets, writers, and composers have dedicated their work to spring—a sublime season that fills human beings with a sense of fulfillment and well-being as plants begin to bloom. It is a celebration of beauty, the vibrant colors of nature, and love. I share with you the song "La primavera" by Leandro Díaz, performed in the gaita style by Betulio Medina and Maracaibo 15; it was released in 1997 on the album Súper Éxitos Maracaibo 15.

Some human beings constantly question life; others, by contrast, do not even realize what it is all about. Yet this, too, is valid, for each individual decides for themselves whether to awaken or to remain in hibernation. In my view, one must be in balance to attain all that one yearns for; the spiritual dimension and the physical body are one whole. If one part falters, everything else fails as well.
