When future generations are unaware of history, they are prone to repeating the same mistakes made in the past.

And it is this thought, coupled with the pain of many veterans and their families—who had to face a war they ultimately lost, not only in terms of territory but also in terms of peace of mind, the casualties among the ranks of soldiers, and a stability that has not returned in 40 years—that drives us.

This sculpture, a tribute to the Falklands, serves as a reminder of that chapter in Argentina’s history that still hurts—and one that must continue to be kept alive so that future generations may understand the importance of this international claim.

It is no longer just a chapter in history books; it is a story told in a thousand ways, by thousands of voices, in different settings, yet with a single purpose: to never forget to fight for what belongs to us.

It is a life lesson, both for locals and for foreigners who have made this country our new home.
