Good afternoon, my dearest #Hive readers! Happy Thursday to everyone—I hope you’re having a wonderful day. This is your friend Manuel greeting you, very excited to bring a new digital illustration I completed over the past couple of days to share on my blog. This time, I decided to take inspiration once again from the wonderful universe of my dear friends in the #Holozing community, focusing on the fire-type dragon creature Emberox! As many of you know, Emberox is the impressive second stage evolution of the small dragon Emberion. My main idea for this piece was to portray Emberox in a humanized or hybrid style with a feminine touch, capturing all its fiery dragon power in a new form. Below, I’ll share a bit of the creation process, and I hope you like it very much!
Muy buenas tardes mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz jueves para todos, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día. Por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel, muy emocionado de traerles una nueva ilustración digital que terminé durante el último par de días para compartir en mi blog. En esta ocasión, decidí inspirarme una vez más en el maravilloso universo de mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing, enfocándome en la criatura dragón de tipo fuego, Emberox. Como muchos sabrán, Emberox pertenece a los dragones de tipo fuego del juego y es la segunda etapa o evolución del pequeño dragón Emberion. Básicamente, mi idea aquí fue representar al dragón en un estilo más humanizado o híbrido con un toque femenino, capturando toda su fuerza draconiana en una figura única. A continuación les dejaré un poco del proceso de creación del dibujo, ¡espero les guste mucho!

For the concept and character design, I wanted to reimagine Emberox as a striking dragon-human hybrid, featuring sharp horns sprouting from her short reddish-black hair, small fangs, glowing blue eyes, and large bat-like fiery dragon wings extending from her back. I drew her wearing a casual crimson crop top and matching trousers, posing with a confident and fierce attitude.
Para el concepto y diseño del personaje, quise reimaginar a Emberox como una imponente híbrida entre dragón y humano, luciendo pequeños cuernos afilados que brotan de su cabello corto en tonos rojo y negro, colmillos delicados, intensos ojos azules y dos grandes alas de dragón de tono rojizo extendiéndose desde su espalda. La dibujé con una vestimenta de dos piezas en color carmesí, posando con una actitud firme y desafiante.
For the details and rendering, I worked carefully on smoothing the skin shading and defining the muscular volumes of her arms and torso using soft airbrush technique. I rendered the dark, leathery texture of the dragon wings with strong highlights along the wing spans, polished her claws, and detailed the subtle shine on her red outfit to match her dragon skin tones.
Para los detalles y el renderizado, trabajé cuidadosamente en suavizar las sombras de la piel y definir los volúmenes en sus brazos y torso mediante el uso de aerógrafo. Rendericé la textura de las alas draconianas aplicando reflejos marcados a lo largo de los pliegues de las membranas, pulí sus garras oscuras y detallé el brillo sutil de su ropa roja para que hiciera juego con los tonos cálidos de su piel.
For the magical elements, lighting, and environment, I set the background under a dramatic sunset sky filled with dense clouds painted in shades of purple, crimson, and gold. A large, radiant sun illuminates the scene from behind, casting intense warm highlights along her horns, hair, wings, and shoulders, heightening the fire-element aesthetic of the character.
Para los elementos mágicos, la iluminación y la ambientación, ubiqué el fondo bajo un dramático cielo de atardecer cargado de nubes en tonos violeta, carmesí y dorado. Un gran sol radiante ilumina la escena desde la parte posterior, proyectando intensos reflejos cálidos a lo largo de sus cuernos, cabello, alas y hombros, elevando así la esencia ardiente y de tipo fuego del personaje.
