He sido muchas cosas: escritor, maestro, vendedor informal, asesor literario...

I've been many things: a writer, a teacher, an informal vendor, a literary consultant... But before all that, I was a child who grew up looking at the countryside. And the countryside, with its infinite patience, taught me what no book could.

When I sold things on the streets, I learned that the sun waits for no one. I would wake up early to the scent of damp earth, carry my oranges, and walk for miles, certain that the day would only give me what I was willing to reap.

Like the corn my grandfather planted: if it didn't rain, there was no harvest; if you didn't work, you didn't eat. But I also learned that after the drought always comes the rain.

Nature doesn't give up, and neither do I.

During those years, I dabbled in jobs that many would call menial. I sold what needed to be sold, I learned to read people before they opened their mouths, I developed a knack for knowing when to back off and when to persist.

Each failed sale was like a seed that didn't germinate; each success, an unexpected harvest. Personal growth isn't found in degrees or accolades, but in the ability to get up again and again with the same determination as a farmer who knows that the next cycle will bring something different.

As a teacher, I saw my students blossom in different seasons. Some were early bloomers, others needed more time. And I understood that each person has their own rhythm. You can't force a tree to bear fruit prematurely; you can only fertilize it, water it, and wait.

That's what growth is like: you don't compete with anyone, you compete with yourself and your own patience. The worst mistake I made during my years as a teacher was trying to rush things. Nature taught me the lesson more than enough: what is rushed, breaks.

As a literary consultant, I read stories of people who believed they were at the end of their cycle. And I always told them the same thing: autumn is not death, it's preparation. The leaves fall so the tree can survive the winter; we leave behind versions of ourselves to be reborn. Every fall is a sowing. Every blank page, a field ready to be cultivated. To grow is to prune, and without that pruning, there is no flower.

I remember a particularly difficult time. I lost my job, my health, and almost my faith. I felt like that bare tree I saw from my window, without leaves, without fruit, without purpose. But one day, the tree sprouted anew. It wasn't a miracle; it was nature fulfilling its cycle. And I understood that my winter wasn't a punishment, it was a necessary rest. My body and spirit needed that silence to heal.

That season of darkness gave me something no success had ever given me: the certainty that I am more than my achievements and more than my failures.

I am the complete cycle. I am the seed, the sprout, the flower, the fruit, and the falling leaf. I am all the seasons inhabiting the same body.

Today I know that life is not linear. It is spiral. We return to the same places, but from a different perspective. Storms pass, suns scorch, moons guide us. And in each cycle there is a lesson: the humility of the one who sows, the patience of the one who waits, the courage of the one who lets go.

Personal growth is not about reaching a fixed destination. It is about learning to dance to the rhythm of the cycles. Understanding that spring is not better than winter, just different. That success doesn't erase pain, nor does pain erase joy. That everything coexists in this body we are, on this earth we inhabit.

Tomorrow, no matter what happens, the sun will rise again. And so will I. I will rise with my scars, my harvests, and my droughts. I will rise with the certainty that each cycle has made me stronger, wiser, and freer.

Nature doesn't teach us to avoid storms. It teaches us to dance in the rain and to be grateful when it clears.
