I think this is one of those pictures where I was feeling a little more confident than usual. Haha. 🤭
I wasn't wearing anything too fancy, just my favorite kind of combination: jeans, a black top, a light cardigan, and some heels. Simple, comfortable, and with just enough attitude to make me feel pretty.
I've always liked wearing jeans because they're so easy to combine with almost anything. But I have to admit that adding heels changes the whole look. Even the way I stand feels different. 😂
And yes, I know the background isn't exactly the prettiest place for a picture. It's literally just a wall! But sometimes those random places turn out to be perfect for taking a few photos.
The lighting was a little strong, and I probably made the same pose about five times before choosing this one. That's usually how my little photo sessions go. My friends already know that when I'm feeling cute, someone is going to have to take a picture of me. 🙈💕
I also really liked how my hair looked that day. I've been enjoying these lighter tones, especially when I wear darker clothes. And the lipstick was definitely a good choice.
It's funny how something as simple as getting ready, choosing an outfit, and taking a picture can put you in a good mood.
I don't dress up every single day, and there are plenty of times when I'd rather stay home in comfortable clothes with my hair tied up. But I also love these moments when I feel like making a little extra effort.
Nothing special had to happen. I just liked my outfit, felt pretty, and wanted to remember it.
Sometimes that's more than enough reason to take a picture. 🖤🥰
