Today I want to talk to you about "El Hada y la Luna" (The Fairy and the Moon), one of my favorite songs by the Spanish folk metal band Saurom (just like the villain from The Lord of the Rings). This track belongs to their acclaimed album Vida, released in 2012.
Personally, I am fascinated by this style of music. Ever since I was little, I listened to it with my siblings; folk metal and rock with medieval touches have a unique magic. Saurom is a band with an incredible trajectory that seamlessly fuses rock with traditional instruments like flutes, violins, and bagpipes. Plus, their lyrics are always spectacular, full of poetry, and very different from today's song lyrics.
In this track, the flute and violin sound perfectly alongside the guitars, creating an enveloping and nostalgic atmosphere. The lyrics tell a beautiful story about longing, love, and fascination between the Moon and a fairy, where the night light seeks to cradle the dreams of its beloved. It is a soft yet deeply moving composition that truly transports you to another world from the very first second you start listening.

¡Hola a todos! Feliz y Bendecido dia, Hoy quiero hablarles de "El Hada y la Luna", una de las canciones que mas me gusta de la banda española de folk metal Saurom (asi como el malvado del Señor de los Anillos). Este tema pertenece a su aclamado álbum Vida, lanzado en el año 2012.
Personalmente, este estilo de agrupaciones me fascina, Desde pequeña lo escuchaba con mis hermanos; el folk metal y el rock con tintes medievales tienen una magia única. Saurom es una banda con una trayectoria increíble que sabe fusionar el rock con instrumentos tradicionales como flautas, violines y gaitas. Además, sus letras siempre son espectaculares, cargadas de poesía, muy diferentes a las letras actuales
En este tema la flauta y violín suenan perfectamente con las guitarras, creando una atmósfera envolvente y nostálgica. La letra nos habla de una hermosa historia sobre el anhelo, el amor y la fascinación entre la Luna y un hada, donde la luz nocturna busca acojer los sueños de su amada. Es una composición suave pero emotiva que de verdad te transporta a otro mundo desde el primer segundo que la empiezas a escuchar.
