Hello, here we're again today. And this time we will be talking about the movie titled Friends With Benefits. Yeah, you heard that right, and trust me, it means exactly what you're thinking. The story follows two young people named Dylan and Jamie. One thing connects them, and it is that both of them are just so tired of complicated relationships; they just got to meet somehow, and that was how they became friends.
And as friends, they began to get to know each other, they shared their experiences with love, and all along the line, they both decided to try something new. That scene was funny to me, though; they didn't even drag it at all, it was just so fast; they reached an agreement to be physically intimate with one another but that they wouldn't allow for any romantic feelings, just friends with benefits. None of them want to be committed, and they feel that's just the best way to go about it.
Well, things went well at first; they talked, had fun, joked, discussed various stuff, and had intimate moments, all while just being friends, but then after spending so much time with each other, feelings began to come in. Even still, none of them want to confess it, not just because of pride, but more because of their various experiences, personal insecurities, and the fear of getting hurt again.
A very lovely and romantic movie, I must say. It is not easy to keep emotions out of a relationship, especially their own kind of relationship. I very well enjoy the chemistry between both of them, though. And I love how comfortable they are with each other; they are so free with one another, discussing different things, sharing stuff, and all. I as well love the funny moments it contains, not much though, but it was enough to keep things going.
But then, I don't like how the movie was just so predictable. Immediately they both agreed to be friends with benefits, and things began to happen between them; I already knew where it would lead. Another thing I don't like is how Dylan and Jamie, who have heard a lot of experiences with relationships, can behave the way they behave at times. You're supposed to be learned and very well experienced, so why have so much misunderstanding and take so much time to even resolve it... Well, that's not mature of them.
Even still, I enjoyed the jokes, the intimate moments, and all. It was a very interesting, funny, and entertaining movie.
