What Is Wealth Without Peace?

This topic almost made me go back and forth in my thoughts, but I quickly settled myself, as I feel it's not something to brood on, yeah. What's the essence of wealth that I have but I don't have freedom? How exactly will I enjoy the wealth then? In short, I'm choosing freedom. This is not as if I hate wealth or do not want to be wealthy, not because I want to be. I want to be very comfortable, be able to take care of my bills, have a thriving business, cater for my family, support my parents, and all of that, without having to worry about anything money-related. But what use is it if I have to lose or sacrifice my freedom just to achieve all of that? It's just better to think twice, or else one won't even get to live long.

There's very little or no joy at all in having something you cannot enjoy; you're so rich to an extent that you can afford anything you want and get anything you like and all, but you don't have the freedom; you're always busy doing this and that. You can't enjoy yourself, you can't have fun, you can't rest, and you can't spend time with families and all, then what exactly is the point of your wealth? I've had a lot of experiences, and one of the things I've come to understand is that life isn't something we take for granted. And there's this saying that "tomorrow is not promised." So, you need to have a life and live a life where you can work towards your goal and at the same time have time out, time to rest, laugh, and have fun, and all.

So, I can't be comfortable choosing something that threatens me and threatens my peace. There's nothing bad in being wealthy, but what essence is that money that you use in building a beautiful house and buying the biggest mattress, but you can't have a good night's sleep? So, I'm choosing freedom; I can work towards being wealthy. But not the kind of wealth that makes me forget that I'm human and I'm living.

Hmmm, life and its ceaseless thoughts. Yes, there are plenty of questions that come with wealth, especially when the freedom to enjoy it isn't there; it makes the whole thing worthless or small. I like my freedom and will choose my freedom. No wonder some dire money-making venture will choose to strip their members or despoil their freedom before they give them this wealth. Let me have my freedom; with that, I will make wealth in due time. Thank you for sharing. !STRIDE

I don't think I will choose freedom though 😂, let the money keep coming, at some point I will be free when I think I know have enough.

Wealth is good and so is the freedom to enjoy it. But finding balance between wealth and freedom is the best.

Having all the riches in the world means nothing when your mind is always racing and there is no peace within. True success must include clarity and peace of mind; otherwise, money is just an empty number on your screen.
