The pig farming is also one of the major occupation that is being properly adopted in some part of Nigeria. Most especially in Ondo state Nigeria. This is where some farmers make it real. Yes. It is a dirty Job but I can tell you that, it really Worth it. When I visited a farmer in another part of Nigeria, I know more about farming in a larger scale. Though it is expensive. Agriculture is expensive no doubt.
These are pig of different sizes, breeds and different background history. Which is a good deal to start up a pig farming with. I made alot of questions even from those that were employed to take care of the animals. How the pig farming works. It is said, that whosoever wants to jump into pig farming must have a lot of focus, determination, alot of time to spend with them. Just like every other Animals too. I took some pictures of the farm and the pig i was able to go round to see.
- This is a big female that has being giving birth yearly. Very caring female. Even when people are not there to assist while giving birth. It will make it real and work out well.
The reason attached to making them grow more bigger and also have more weight is every farmers choice and aim. Sometimes when you see a farmer. It means a lot of things. Different decisions and so on.
The use of Cleaning and making sure that the environment is extremely clean is also a big deal. Animals like the pigs. They don't like bushy environment. Even though some other people may think it is a good idea to raise them around the bush or mould environment.
