The feeding of animals should be done with benefits attached to it. This is why most of the called farmers may later regret giving out their animals to labourers and not constantly visiting the farm themselves. Here we have a good and a sharp visit to the farm while handling the feeding with dried cassava peel was giving to the pig for another section of the meal. Pig is one Animal that can survive with even excessive feeding.
When you feed them with good quality feed. You see it in them and they can grow faster and selling may occur. I took some pictures of the pigs while on the farm again this time.
- The pigs learn more about the farm environment without no stress. When some pigs were introduce into the farm. They seems calm and quiet and yes. This is what the farmer wants. Feeding Routine continues.
These are some of the feed bags that were empty for two days. Feeding them cost much. If you want to go into feed that are very nutrients filled. The last time I was there while the pig feeds was made. It cost more than #500,000. Which is more than 453.97 United States Dollar in one tonnes.
The pig feeds contains Maize, soyabeans, fish, bone meal, premix and co. All this are good sources of Healthy nutrients. But they also need more roughages for Growth and development.
Different method are being used by different pig farmers though but it is necessary to go with the not too rough or something easy.
