A Peaceful Walk Along the River in Barangay Magurang: Exploring a Hidden Path

‎I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend filled with peace, happiness, and good times with the people you love... 🌼 ‎ ‎-- ‎ ‎After spending most of the week indoors, I finally had the chance to go out and enjoy nature again. And honestly, it felt so relaxing and comforting. ‎ ‎Yesterday morning was so hot when we left home. But as soon as we reached the area, the atmosphere changed. The air was fresh and cool, and the surroundings were filled with so much greenery. ‎ ‎ ‎Every Saturday, we have a schedule for the ministry, and this area is part of our territory. I actually love going to different territories because it gives me the opportunity to discover places I have never visited before. ‎ ‎This time, we went to Barangay Magurang, and it was my first time going to this particular part. ‎ ‎We were walking alongside the river. ‎ ‎ ‎From the main path, you wouldn't know that there were houses in this area. ‎ ‎As we continued walking, we passed under some bamboo that was overhanging the path and creating a natural tunnel. 😍 ‎ ‎ ‎It was so cool and shady underneath... ‎ ‎After walking under the hot morning sun, that natural tunnel felt like a refreshing break. ‎ ‎The scenery was full of green, and beside us was the flowing river. 😌 ‎ ‎When we turned toward the part where there were houses, there was even more greenery. Almost every path had trees or plants surrounding it. ‎ ‎ ‎My uncle, who lived here before, told us how different this place is now compared to before. The houses have become much more beautiful and sturdy. ‎ ‎Even the riverside area has changed. There is now a safer way to walk along the river, unlike before, where it's dangerous. ‎ ‎While walking, I also spotted some mushrooms growing along the way... Showing how moist the area is. ‎ ‎ ‎When we reached the end of the houses, we made our way back to the riverside, and once again, we were greeted by the refreshing air. ‎ ‎ ‎While we were there, we also saw my cousins Kyle and Vinzon. They told us that maybe there were still more houses ahead, so we decided to check. ‎ ‎ ‎But when we looked further, we realized that we would have to pass a bridge to reach that area. ‎ ‎So... we decided not to continue. Haha 😂 But I saw a small dam that looked like a little waterfall. 😍 ‎ ‎ ‎Just looking at the flowing water made it look refreshing. I would have loved to go closer, but we decided not to go any further. ‎ ‎I was really glad that I joined my group this Saturday because I got the chance to visit a place that I had never seen before. ‎ ‎As we walked back, I couldn't help but take more pictures of the beautiful surroundings. ‎ ‎ ‎Thank you for joining me on this little walk through Barangay Magurang. 🥰 ‎ ‎I hope you also get the chance to step outside... ‎ ‎Thanks for the visit!
