@mayt here! 💕 Today, I’m hanging out with this lovely @hiveph community, and I’m excited to share my peaceful afternoon with you.
It’s another little story from my everyday life. Just a moment I enjoyed and thought was worth sharing here on Hive.

The weather yesterday afternoon was really nice. It had just rained, so the cold air was still around. Everything felt fresh and cool.
I had also just finished taking a bath, so I felt comfortable. 🥰
Also, both of my kids were sleeping. That means... The house was quiet. No little voices calling me, no running around, and no one asking me to get something for them. Just peace.
As a mom, I don't usually get moments like this.
So while my kids were sleeping, I decided to enjoy it. Instead of finding something else to do. 😅
I just wanted to sit down and relax. 🥰
Since I was already feeling fresh after my bath, I thought I'd have some merienda. So I prepared a coffee. Then I remembered that we still had some leftover pansit from breakfast.
So, I got some bread and put the pansit on it. 😅

Do you also do this, or is it just me? 😅
My hubby also joined me and had some coffee. 🥰 So, technically, my "me time" became a little us time. Haha ❤️
But I didn't mind it at all.
We just sat there, enjoying our coffee and the peaceful afternoon while the kids continued sleeping.
There was nothing special happening.... Just our coffee and a quiet house. 🌻
And somehow that was exactly what I needed to recharge.
I didn't go anywhere to enjoy myself that day. I just enjoyed what was already around me.
And I hope I get more afternoons like this. ❤️
