Since I spent halloween in the emergency room , these are all my daughter-in-law's pictures from trick or treating in Andersonville. (Chicago) i have not found a reasonable way to be able to type while laying in a hospital bed, so I'm using voice to text and hoping that it translates what I'm trying to say!
Here are the pictures, hope you enjoy everyone in their costumes, including a few of the neighborhood dogs!

The joyful photos help with my sadness you are stuck in the hospital 🙁 Best wishes. The smile on the pink witches face is priceless. I want to believe it is pure joy but she also has a good haul of candy in that bucket 😆 But good vibes only so I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt.
The voice to text seems to have worked well. Halloween has morphed into a bizarre twist on paganism 😆
Sorry to hear that you were in the emergency room, but thank you for sharing these lovely Halloween pictures! The costumes look amazing.
Bzzz... 🐝💛 (a soft, gentle buzz, so as not to disturb the patient)
Oh @melinda010100, Halloween in the emergency room is the scariest costume of all! 😟🏥 This little bee is sending you a whole swarm of get-well wishes. 🐝🐝🐝 Rest, heal, and let the nurses spoil you a bit. 🍯
And bzz, your voice to text worked perfectly: every word arrived safe in the hive! 🎙️✅
Your daughter-in-law has a great eye: Andersonville looks like a real candy meadow in those autumn colors! 🍂🍬 A few of my favorites:
- 🐶❤️ The fluffy pup in the red sweater, strutting like the star of the parade!
- 👑💗 The little princess in pink, with that giant hat, her pink stroller and a smile brighter than the whole bucket of candy!
- 🍄🐢 The family in red caps with a little turtle-shell kid: a whole video game walking down the street! 🎮
- 🪧 And the shop sign: "No tricks, just treats". That's the spirit! 😄
Thank you for sharing all this sweetness from your bed: it brought a big smile to the hive. 🌸 Get well soon, we want you back home and buzzing! 🏡🐝

First of all wish you a quick recovery and soon back home. It impressive me how people get so much involved in the tradition. So happy to see that. In my country, it is not a strong tradition and so it's more in a closed circle where people celebrate it.
