[Movie] 12 Lives, 12 Souls, 1 Path: "Do You Believe?" Review

I just spent almost two hours to see this movie this evening some minutes after I got back home from work, for relaxation. I did get to relax with the story but it sparked something inside me more as a reminder of who I am choosing to be, a believer of Christ and His salvation plan. I'm not here to preach but this movie preached a lot so.

Once again, I would be focusing on the characters of the story that each taught me a lesson to take from the overall story. "Do You Believe?" is about 12 different people in different directions but longing or hoping for something more until their paths crossed and they discover that there is power in the Cross of Christ. It's a good example of "I was lost but now I'm found".

So here is a brief back story of each character, the 12 Souls heading to 1 Path as the story tells and the lessons learned from the actions taken.

First is Dr. Farell (starred by Sean Astin) who is attending to a patient (Maggie starred by Madison Pettis) and using uninspiring words that are not expected from a doctor. He believes he is the one who saves those people who come to the hospital and get well. Maggie, had tried to kill herself but was saved and when she woke up, she didn't see who she wanted to see, her dad.

The third person is Matthew (starred by Ted McGinley), he is the local pastor who got shaken by the visible faith of a street-corner preacher and he ignites his church members with the word and that brings everyone to start to find their path towards Christ. There is Joe (starred by Brian Bosworth) who is dying from a terminal illness.

He meets Samantha (starred by Mira Sorvino) and her daughter, Lily (starred by Makenzie Moss) and found joy in giving help to the homeless mother and daughter but their relationship grow so beautifully when he dies and wakes up again, a second chance to live right with his new family. There is J.D (starred by Lee Majors) and Teri (starred by Cybill Shepherd), a couple who have been griefing for many years.

The brothers Kriminal and Pretty boy (starred by Grifon Aldren and Shwayze) who were thieves, found Christ through Pretty boy first after an encounter with the same street-corner preacher. They are both tested, one even lost his life but after receiving and bringing his brother closer to Christ. There is also Carlos who is fighting with a trauma of not being able to save a friend of his.

And there is Bobby (starred William Matthews) who is tested in his faith at his work place that it got him into a court trial where he lost everything but still put his life at risk to save the lawyer who did all that to him. His faith action taught me a beautiful lessons, standing firm even when all odds are against you. His stand convert his wife, Elena (starred by Valerie Dominguez) especially after witnessing a dead man (Joe) living again.

The story is a good one and I totally love how it teaches the beauty of Christ's cross, redemption and love. I love that the overall story has various stories attached to keep viewers engrossed with how it all ends for them. I'll recommend it to you.

The title made me eager to click on this, I haven’t watched it yet, this movie is just like people dealing with different struggles and experiences and eventually having their paths connected through faith and redemption, like I was touched with the movie review.
