I just witnessed the most absurd horse race, and after that, I only have one question for you. Have you ever imagined being a horse? It just happened to me, and I think I'm starting to open my eyes.
Equines have a 360-degree field of vision. This means they don't have to turn their heads to see everything around them, because each eye is capable of processing an image independently of the other, but they also look at the same spot to calculate distances.
If we add their bulk and speed to this visual ability, they should be the perfect hunters. They say God doesn't give horns to a donkey, and that we humans are the worst race of divine creation. There are good people and there are bad people.

The good kind invents things, and the bad kind invents things. I'll explain myself in a moment.
It turns out that sometime, on an imprecise date between the 18th and 19th centuries, someone invented something to help horses focus their vision more. It was known that these draft animals were very restless, perhaps retaining a survival instinct on high alert due to their eternal presence on battlefields.
Faced with this fragility of steeds, they created blinkers (they are pieces of leather, or plastic, attached to the bridle that limit a horse's lateral and rear vision). Supposedly, they were originally made for their carriage journeys, but later became popular with the rise of horse racing. People and their inventions.
The goal was to calm the colt so it would focus on its objective without even thinking about the other competitors in the race. That is, a small man rides the thoroughbred, urging it to be the first to cross the finish line, just to win something.

The experiment worked and continues to work, but of course, that gift of long training and care, only to later use punishments to urge a beast to give its best, couldn't possibly happen to us. People just invent the craziest things.
Look at us, we are supposedly smart, we are the pinnacle of the evolutionary scale, we have reason and consciousness, we don't have riders on top of us beating us, nor are we in any race. Evidently, we cannot see on the same scale as horses, however, we have the gift of being able to observe everything that happens in our environment.
Unless... Unless we have a gnome directing each of us through another form of domination that doesn't consist of putting glasses on us, but rather something that would be in plain sight, because clearly, right now, you can touch between your eyebrows, your temple, and your brow to immediately realize that we don't have blinkers.
Unless... Unless there is an intangible way to distract us and limit our vision with some kind of political, economic, social, religious, or health interference, which doesn't allow us to realize that there are things we can no longer look at.

Nah... I don't think so. I mean, I understand that behind horse racing there is a massive, multi-million dollar industry of betting and entertainment. But we are different, we are not always competing for the same trophy, everyone has a different race, and it would be absurd and impossible to believe that all of humanity is in a competition at the same time.
Unless... Unless we haven't even realized that as a race we share a common goal. But hold on, there is nothing that can equate us, nor is it so extremely effective to make the men and women of this planet run in a hurry, much less that we do it injured and at a trot, and don't even think that we would do it after training ourselves to resist whiplashes every time we were running. Bad people just invent the craziest things.
Politics wouldn't be capable of that either, it wouldn't unify us to resist in that way and then urge us to "democratically" elect our leaders, making us believe that we are free to vote for those we admire. Can you imagine that? Am I supposed to have chosen a politician because someone imposed him on me? We are not horses, for God's sake!

And let's not even talk about religion, that can't be it either. We don't have to tarnish the image of each of the world's deities, because it is a fact that everyone decides to whom they dedicate their fervor. It doesn't matter if all of this is based on stories of exaltation for culturally accepted figures, which have nothing scientific to make them prevail as an unquestionable truth. It's faith, man, it doesn't need evidence.
Furthermore, there are many agnostics and also people who don't vote. Are you telling me that they are also driven by a rider who is herding them without them realizing it? Don't mess with me! I don't believe it! I reject that! I reject it! No one is going to convince me that we are in the middle of a dust-clouded path galloping like beasts yearning for a podium.
And what is the goal? What is the blessed goal supposed to be? Tell me, then! See, you have no point? I already knew I wasn't some native filly used by some kind of gnome on top and with glasses imposed by a third party. They are just inventions to make us doubt!

Unless... Nohh! It can't be! Yes!... Yes, there is something!...
The previous cases live under a system of pressure that equalizes us all, not by choice, not by ideological or religious devotion, but by strategic dependence.
It is something you don't even have to believe in, but that you must choose, regardless of where you live, and that inexorably turns us into specimens of different nationalities on the planet, enduring the fierce blows of whoever we have above us.
Money changes form, changes name, but it is something we all trust as a value. This privilege, furthermore, gathers in a single sack Gods, politicians, priests, and animals with critical thinking, and it is the only distinction that, for better or worse, can distract us to the point of being practically in an eternal experiment.

And there the nags come back into play, because just like them, we are instinctively hypertensive and on alert for what, in principle, also caused horses to go from being calm animals to a species in constant consternation over a surprise military attack or a pull of the rope.
Money... Dirty, clean, legal, or illegal... Money regulates us all, turning us into specimens running at different speeds and in as many races as "international horse racing" allows. The objection of sight is there. There are cultural objects blocking our dogmas, deliberately getting into our line of sight, distracting us, unlike equines, because physically it was impossible to tame us with a tool like blinkers, so instead of omitting the distraction, they placed it in plain sight so we wouldn't suspect, and instead of calming us down, they set us running restlessly and continue to stay on top of us giving us whiplashes.

Giddy-up, little human! Giddy-up! Run, little human, run! Ha, ha, ha, ha. Can you imagine such nonsense? I told you... people invent the craziest things. And the worst part is that there will be people who question this. What a laugh!
Just because we did it to horses doesn't mean there are unscrupulous people responsible for the ultimate invention to correct behavioral defects, prevent man from leaning outward or inward on curves, and above all, to seek greater aggression and initial speed. I even believed you for a second, ha, ha, ha, ha.
