Can you imagine trying ice cream made from meat, salmon, or pasta with cheese? Well, that’s possible at the “Heladería Mil Sabores” in Mérida, Venezuela 🍦—a place known for holding a Guinness World Record for offering a thousand unconventional flavors, ranging from avocado and herbs to cheese, among other even crazier options, hahaha.

The place is absolutely beautiful—everything is decorated with roses and shades of pink, and it’s truly very cozy. When you arrive, you’re greeted by a huge sign announcing their Guinness World Record, which invites you to come in and see why they earned it 😊

Obviously, their display doesn’t include all the thousand flavors they’ve invented over the years, but they do have a wide variety of weird ones and some that are a little more common 😂.

Among the flavors, the standouts were beef, salmon, mac and cheese, avocado, cheese, rice pudding, black beans, hot dog, onion, and many more weird ones hahaha. But there were also some more familiar ones like Galak (white chocolate), Samba, Chips Ahoy, chocolate, and pistachio.

There, they let you sample any flavor you want (except avocado, beef, salmon, and black beans—since they’re a bit delicate) so you can decide which one to order, since some have specific names and make you curious to know what they’re made of.

I didn't know what to choose, so I asked to try the pistachio one—it was the one that caught my eye the most—because even though I loved the idea of going to that ice cream shop, I wasn't exactly thrilled about trying the meat ice cream 😂 So once I’d decided on the pistachio flavor, I saw one called “popeta,” and when I asked what it was, they told me it was “popcorn,” and that really piqued my curiosity. When I actually tried it, my eyes truly lit up.

The flavor was extraordinary—it was vanilla ice cream with a hint of salt, and at the end of every spoonful, the popcorn flavor and the little bits of popcorn took it to the next level. Definitely a treat.

The other flavors I tried were mint, Galak, ginger, one called “Power Ranger” (which was a mix of various cereals), and one called “Rosas,” which I definitely didn’t like at all—it was like putting perfume in my mouth 😵‍💫. But the worst of all was the cheese flavor; it was honestly really gross 🤢.

I would definitely go back to that ice cream shop a thousand times, even with my eyes closed—it’s delicious and so beautiful, and I definitely have to try more flavors as long as they aren’t too weird 😂.

Thanks for reading my post. See you in the next one, bye ❤️.
