Come on an adventure with me on Saco Island—I'll give you advice and tips
El Saco Island is a popular tropical paradise known for its vibrant scenery and pristine, crystal-clear waters. ¿What tips should we know to visit this tropical island?
Puerto La Cruz is a coastal city in Anzoátegui State, Venezuela.
You know, a few days ago I had the pleasure of going to the beach—an island that was new to me. It’s called Isla El Saco—what a curious name, isn’t it? I’d heard of it before, but I hadn’t dared to visit it and explore it until now, so today I’m going to show you my trip and tell you all about it.
We got up very early to get dressed and get everything ready—like packing water, soda, ice, food, cookies, and Pepitos—everything we’d eat there, to avoid spending too much money, since it’s usually a little more expensive.
It was already past 9:30 a.m. when a van arrived to take us to the boarding location, which is on Paseo Colón in the city of Puerto la Cruz — Anzoátegui State, Venezuela. I say “boarding” because we were heading to an island, and at that moment we were at the pier buying our tickets, which cost $12 each; this included the trip to the island and the return trip.
Let me tell you, the line was endless, since it’s vacation season and people usually take advantage of it to visit these beaches. Suffice it to say that it wasn’t until around 10:30 a.m. that we were finally able to board the boat to head to El Saco Island.
Suffice it to say that with all the commotion, I was only able to take photos and videos while I was on the boat, standing next to my nephew.

By the way, we had the pleasure of seeing dolphins on the tour; I hadn't seen any in years, and it was really satisfying to see them so close up and yet so free and calm.

The man driving the boat slowed down so we could get a good look at them and so they would feel safe, too; after that, we continued on our way. We made a short stop at Puinare Island.

We shared the same boat with the other people going there, since very few people go to this beach; in total, our trip took 40 minutes by boat.
When I arrived, I managed to take a few photos of the island's sign.

We rented the upper level, which cost $25. Let me tell you, the view from there was absolutely beautiful—even though it was cloudy, I managed to take a few pictures.

I was at the beach, walking around, and went in for a swim—so much so that I got pretty sunburned, even though I wore sunscreen. I got so distracted that I didn't get back until lunchtime. I rested for a moment, saw that there was a hammock there, and spent some time in it.

I went back in to swim and clear my mind; everything was so peaceful and perfect for meditating on my back—which I love to do. I spent about two hours in the water like that. I think I needed to let go of a lot of things and reflect on others; that outing really helped me—I truly needed it.
After that, I just took a few photos in my swimsuit before getting changed.

I started drying off around 3:50 p.m. It was already cloudy and looked like it was going to rain; I was cold, so we started packing up around 4:30 p.m. We boarded the boat at 5 p.m. and left the place, feeling pretty tired. As we were about to arrive, I managed to take a few pictures of my nephew.

And then I looked to the side and saw a spectacular view to take some photos—and look at this beautiful photo I captured on my phone; it's a real treat to share it with you all.

As soon as we arrived, we got ready to go home, take a shower, have dinner, and rest because it had been a pretty sunny day and we were really tired. Do you guys like this kind of adventure? Would you sign up to go? I’m reading your comments—cheers!!!
