No es la típica película que al inicio sabes que va a suceder, está te va dando pistas a través de las escenas y es como un pequeño rompecabezas en la cual el resultado es bastante conmovedor, aunque el final si se me hace un poco repetitivo el resultado en ese tipo de dramas, pero me dió buen inicio, un desarrollo y final con algo de sobre entendido.

Although, to be honest, it wasn’t until a little later, after I looked up her name, that I remembered a classic from many years ago that was very popular in its day and a total hit. I don’t know if you remember it, Dad Forever—this actress’s performance in the movie was quite fitting because she isn’t your typical elderly person who needs help or to be rescued; on the contrary, she’s a go-getter who likes to do everything on her own.
The film has several standout elements. As you can see from the trailer I just shared, it’s a blend of full-blown drama with a mystery woven in—one that a particular character uncovered simply by listening to them, in this case the octopus they were taking care of. Every night they’d talk to it, and it would gradually piece together their story, thereby unraveling the mystery.
But it’s worth noting that the film offers many lessons and insights—such as how to organize your life, give yourself the chance to try new things, and open up emotionally to others. It’s been quite rewarding to see that these themes are portrayed realistically in some scenes and aren’t just left to fiction.
Estuve mirando con detalles los nombres de los actores y el de Sally Field, la protagonista del films, su rostro se me hizo muy conocido, aunque les soy sincera fue poco después que investigue más su nombre que me hizo recordar un clásico de hace muchos años que fue muy popular en su época y un éxito total, no sé si lo recuerdan papá por siempre, la interpretación de esta actriz en la película fue bastante encajante porque no es una típica persona mayor que necesita ayuda o que la rescaten, al contrario es toda terreno que le gusta hacer todo sola.
El films tiene diferentes cosas por destacar, como pueden visualizar el tráiler que les acabo de compartir, es una mezcla de drama total con misterio incorporado, que un personaje en particular descubrió con solo escucharlos, que en este caso fue el pulpo que se encargaban de cuidar. Cada noche ellos le hablaban y el solo iba conociendo y armando su historia y así descubriendo el misterio.
Pero hay que destacar que da muchas enseñanzas y reflexiones, como por ejemplo como organizar tu vida, darte la oportunidad de intentar cosas nuevas, abrirse de manera sentimental con otras personas, ha sido bastante gratificante que es algo realista en algunas escenas y no solo lo dejen en ficción.

Les muestro dos escenas realmente grandiosas de la película que me gustó en particular, dónde la primera conectan en aprendizaje y organización, lo que les venia diciendo, que fue un cambio de vida para el chico y la segunda imagen cuando empezaban a compartir historias y hablar de sus vidas, la conexión que tenían era impresionante.
La creatividad de adaptación que tuvo Olivia Newman y John Whittington, fue fantástica para atrapar al público y mantenernos a la expectativa del final, hace que las escenas y momentos sean intrigantes y la narración del pulpo le da un buen toque.
