Visit to the Parque de las Leyendas in Peru-Lima part 1

Hello, dear friends. Today I want to share a little moment I experienced during my trip to Peru when I visited Las Leyendas Park—a great place to visit with family, friends, couples, or any other social group.

The park is quite large to explore; I really didn’t have the slightest idea of the route I was about to take. We left at 9 a.m. and arrived around 10:30 a.m.—traffic is pretty heavy in Lima.

At that time, admission was 20 soles for adults and 10 soles for children. You have two options for exploring the park: walk at your own pace and see everything, or take the sightseeing trains.

As you can see, these are the different sections of the trails and a map of the entire park. We decided to head to the water area first, although the first thing I saw wasn’t actually part of that section—haha—it was the deer.

I have to say they have a nice place to live. From there, we went to see the sea lions. There were two ways to view them: from above and from below (the underground viewing area). From both angles, they were absolutely beautiful and playful.

We kept moving forward and came across the penguins. I have to admit I was really looking forward to seeing them in person—it was so nice to have them so close.

I saw some beautiful flamingos—which I’ve actually seen many times in my hometown—so they didn’t really pique my curiosity. As we kept moving, I noticed the beautiful koi fish, which are Asian fish. I was really curious to see them up close; they were well-protected but looked absolutely lovely.

I also had the chance to see many fish of various sizes, types, and colors—I thought it was great.

I also saw this little guy with a mustache—I'm not sure if my memory is failing me, but I think they're tigerfish. Anyway, if you know, let me know in the comments.

And one thing I wanted to see on this tour—which took me by surprise—was these piranhas, how dangerous and calm they look at the same time. It’s a shame the reflection off the glass and the light didn’t let me capture it well; they look just like they do in the horror movies that feature them.

This tour is just Part 1—I’ll see you soon for Part 2, where you’ll see what other animals I encountered in this park. At the start of this trip, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but as I looked around more, I was impressed by how well the animals and the park in general were cared for. I love nature, and this park gave me a sense of peace and excitement at a time when I really needed a distraction.

I’d love to hear from you in the comments—whether you like this kind of outing or prefer other activities. Cheers!!!

I loved seeing all these beautiful animals. It looks like a wonderful and well-maintained place where the animals are comfortably enclosed. How great! !LADY

What a beautiful tour you gave me! Sea lions that you could see from above or below, how spectacular! Piranhas? I've never seen piranhas, how fantastic! This place is incredible. And the penguins... I'm curious. They have to be in a cold climate, how is that possible? What kind of environment did the penguins have to be able to live in that place? Tell me, it seems incredible to me. !LADY !PIMP !PAKX
