Hello friends in the Splinterlands and Web3 gaming communities—how is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and continuing to battle regularly to strengthen your decks.
To be honest, the demands of real-life work have increased so much lately that it has become nearly impossible to dedicate as much time to the game as I used to. While I once spent time every day pushing my rank and playing match after match with carefully crafted strategies, I now find only a brief window of time each day. Yet, no matter how busy things get, my passion for Splinterlands hasn't waned! So, whenever I get the chance, I try to squeeze in a battle or two. Amidst these brief sessions, I experienced a truly joyful moment today—I finally managed to unlock ‘Modern Division 8’!
When the words "UNLOCKED - Congratulations Battle Mage" appeared on the screen alongside the golden shield after unlocking Division 8, all the fatigue from a busy day vanished in an instant. It is precisely these small achievements that truly enhance the joy of playing Splinterlands.
Immediately after unlocking the division, I saw the option to claim my rewards. Waiting for me as Division 8 loot were 3 regular chests, 1 special glowing chest, and 1,000 reward points (Glint). Before opening the chests, the game offered me the option to use a potion. Without hesitation, I activated a 'Legendary Potion' from my backpack to double the chances of pulling a high-quality card.
Then came the moment of real excitement—opening the chests! When I clicked the 'Claim' button, the ornately carved wooden chest burst open amidst a flash of blue light. The animation looked truly spectacular. As the cards began to reveal themselves one by one, I was delighted with the rewards I received:
- 1,000 Points (Glint): Receiving 1,000 points at once is a fantastic opportunity to pick up some extra items of my choice from the reward shop.
- Phlegmor (Common Card - 2 copies): I received two copies of the Earth element card 'Phlegmor'. It is a useful defensive card that will come in handy for future leveling up.
- 1 Alchemy Potion Charge: This will be very useful for increasing the chances of pulling a gold foil card when opening future packs or chests.
- Gravebrand Warlock (Rare Card - 1): The highlight of today's chest opening was this rare card from the Death Splinter! With an 8-mana cost, this card boasts impressive attack power and abilities. Adding it to my Death deck will significantly boost its overall strength.
Even though I couldn't play many matches due to a lack of time, I am delighted to have received such excellent and balanced rewards. With two common cards, a useful rare card, plus potions and currency—all in all, today's session was a complete success.
