Happy new day to us all, I hope that our night was blessed and peaceful. It's about 5am here and I am up and getting ready for today's work.
We would be transplanting rice in the fields today to continue the work from where we have stopped from. We took a break of about two days from transplanting to attend to our Groundnuts farms as weeds are already disturbing the plants.

We were able to weed out the Groundnuts and since there has been a daily downpour of rain for about now we want to finish up with the transplanting as soon as possible before the swamp water gets too high and unbearable to work in.
Sometimes water in the rice field can rise as high as ones knee length, hence it's better to plant or transplant in record time both for safety and to be able to achieve the kind of results we want.

Right after weeding the Groundnuts yesterday we decided to check on the bambaranuts farms and what we noticed isn't encouraging at all. The bambaranuts plant leaves loosks infected. All the leaves are spotted with holes that I don't feel that this is normal. It's actually my first time of seeing something like this although it's a common thing among vegetables. It is a common thing among vegetables and if this happens it doesn't take much time for the veggies to get spoilt and become inedible.

Even after the first weeding that we have done in this farm, another set of grasses have just germinated and are now taking over the farm. The bambaranuts needs another round of weeding meanwhile we are still busy with the rice farms and at a critical stage now.

Hopefully these will be able to hold for another one week so that we can finish up with the whole rice transplanting process.

And for this leafspots that's affecting the farms, I can't say if it's a going to get worst, I may just ask some friends if they know about this condition for Bambaranuts and what a possible solutions can be. Maybe some pesticides and maybe all those may not be necessary and that the plant can still do well regardless.
