Above Shanghai

Traveling to China was a great pleasure for me. It was really a place where I always wanted to come and explore the country.

A week was definitely not enough, but since we traveled with an excursion group, we couldn't stay longer.

One of the first places that they showed us on the second day was Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Earlier, I uploaded photos from the outside of the tower, but today I want to show photos taken from the inside of the tower's upper part, as well as tell you all about the experience of being there.

When we went up in the elevator to the highest point, the structure's framework became visible to us. It was really great to see such a magnificent structure with my own eyes. After we arrived at the top of the tower, we had to make our way through a thick crowd of people who came to enjoy the view and take photos.

Eventually, my friend and I managed to find a place to take pictures.

I have to admit that I have a fear of heights, and in order to see the view and take pictures, you have to go up to the very edge of the glass surface. The view was worth the fear as it was very cool to look down at the city below. The feeling of being up there was short-lived, but it was very intense for me: nevertheless, you can see me in the picture in which I took photos with my shoes!

But what is more important, my excitement was caused by the fact that I was looking at a concrete building from above. This kind of experience was extremely exciting for me.

I have always been a fan of the "God's-eye view" from a height: this is probably how people realized the dream of flying throughout human history!

I edited these photos using the software I am currently developing, and I will be releasing a demo version for you to download very soon!
