The spring that is reborn within me.
Hello, friends from Empowertalent, I'm glad to be back here again. I found this week's topic very inspiring and it made me reflect on what I have kept inside and have been healing, through small things and necessary changes. I would like to invite my friends @erigm and @irenenavarroart to also join this week's initiative. 🫶🏽
We are like the seasons; we are constantly changing between cold times with heavy rains, as well as hot days and beautiful views, but there is always spring to remind us that life is more than just black or white. There are nuances, and amidst everything difficult and complicated about existing, there are those moments that make us think it is worth living one more day, if only to see that our story still has something more to teach us and to give thanks for having it.
I remember my days of rain and strong winds; everything was cloudy and dark, and it seemed that nothing could ever be different, no matter how much effort I put into trying to make it so. I found myself alone—not physically, but more in a spiritual and conscious sense. Youth leads us to believe that nothing can change and that our life will remain in a state of cold days and storms that start from the heart.
After walking through many paths, people, songs, and seasons, a moment of calm and tranquility arrives; things might still remain the same on the outside, but something begins to change from within, something lights up and starts to bloom like spring. Beautiful memories arrive, along with goals that, no matter how small, are our greatest achievements, and that is when you understand that life will not always be winter, but that you will also be able to see your path bloom again.
At first, it might seem unbelievable, as if you didn't deserve what is happening, as if you could only remember the negative, but in life, anything can happen. Just as there are low days, we also rise again to those clouds of dreams that urge us to keep moving forward. And I remember those winter days again, as if that had been a bad dream—a moment we don't want to recall. However, if we hadn't gone through that season, we wouldn't be here today, living.
This is something deeply personal. Spring didn't come to me because the days changed or because things started turning out the way I wanted. No, spring came when I decided to look at myself head-on and accept my mistakes and my successes. Everything that makes me the person I am, everything I have fought for and kept inside, which deep down was illuminated by a faith that can only be understood while living it. And that is how spring arrived—without external changes, but with multiple changes within me that help me try to improve who I am every day.
