I spent some time yesterday at Bacuranao Beach, east of Havana, where the 3rd Triathlon Open Challenger took place in the Masters category. And this time, unlike the previous ones, it was a team event. I took some photos and short videos there, which I later edited to keep the memory of this day and share it with you. You’ll have to imagine the swimming 😅 because I couldn’t go there before dawn… 😂… so by the time I arrived there was no one left in the water. The event started very early.
This Sunday wasn’t short of adventures… afterwards I went with two friends to Cojímar, the little coastal town where Ernest Hemingway lived and wrote his novel The Old Man and the Sea. I had two beers there in his name and in mine too, because it’s been quite a hectic week. On the way back we decided to go to Casa Blanca and take the little ferry to cross the Bay. I documented that a bit as well.

In short, my friend Bianchi and I added more kilometres this Sunday. There’s a trip planned for next weekend that I really wouldn’t want to miss, I’m quite excited about it… we’ll see what happens.
