My happy birthday with my family
Hola, amigos de Hive y esta linda comunidad. El día de hoy les traigo parte de lo que fue mi cumpleaños con mi familia; para ser sincera, cada vez que llega esta fecha me pongo nostálgica, ya que la edad pasa y no perdona, pero a su vez estoy feliz de que mi vida haya tomado este rumbo y estar en familia con tranquilidad. Para mi cumpleaños no fue otro día que normal, porque fue lunes y comencé el ciclo escolar, así que la pasé en el colegio junto con mis colegas, quienes con amor hicieron de mi día un momento genial. Después en casa todo fue diferente, ya que mi pareja me regaló una torta muy linda y cantamos cumpleaños juntos nosotros 3 y con nuestras familias en videollamada, recordando que vivimos aquí nosotros solamente, y algo que nos sucedió al empezar a cantar cumple fue que se nos fue la electricidad, lo cual es común en Venezuela actualmente.
Sinceramente, no esperaba torta, ya que las circunstancias no estaban para eso, pero mi pareja se las ingenió y pudimos hacerlo realidad. De verdad agradecida con mi amor por ese detalle, con mi familia, porque en la distancia me cantaron cumpleaños y junto a mi hijo todo es maravilloso. El fin de semana llegaron más familiares y pudimos darnos ese abrazo de cumpleaños. Igualmente, mis padres me trajeron un lindo ramo de flores eternas, las cuales ya subí en Hive y también 2 pijamas hermosas, ya que saben que amo esos detalles.
Agradeciendo a Dios por las cosas lindas que pasan en mi vida, y por aquellas que están por llegar. Gracias por la vida y por tener salud, una estabilidad y un hogar junto a mi familia. Gracias a todos por sus detalles de hoy. Saludos
Hello, Hive friends and this wonderful community! Today I want to share a bit of my birthday with my family. To be honest, every time this day comes around I get a little nostalgic, since time flies and aging is inevitable; but at the same time, I’m happy with the path my life has taken and grateful to be surrounded by my family in peace. For me, it felt like any other regular day because it was a Monday and the school year was starting, so I spent it at school with my colleagues, who lovingly made my day truly special. Later at home, everything was different: my partner gave me a lovely cake, and the three of us sang 'Happy Birthday' together while video calling our families (since it's just the three of us living here). And right as we started singing, the power went out—something that's quite common in Venezuela these days!
Honestly, I wasn't expecting a cake since circumstances weren't ideal for it, but my partner managed to figure it out and make it happen. I'm truly grateful to my love for that sweet gesture, to my family for singing 'Happy Birthday' to me from afar, and having my son there made everything wonderful. Over the weekend, more family members came over and we were able to give each other a birthday hug. Also, my parents brought me a beautiful bouquet of everlasting flowers—which I've already posted on Hive—along with two gorgeous pairs of pajamas, since they know how much I love those little details.
Thanking God for the beautiful things happening in my life, and for those yet to come. I'm grateful for life itself, good health, stability, and a warm home with my family. Thank you all for your kind gestures today. Best regards!
