This past October has been full of intense emotions, especially because of Halloween and everything I had planned to share with you over the last four weeks. Beyond whether or not I’ve achieved all the goals I set for this month, I was personally more focused on sharing everything I had planned for this “Month of Horror”—which I did manage to do, at least for the most part.

Este mes de octubre ha estado repleto de emociones intensas, sobre todo por el tema del Halloween y todo lo que tenía preparado compartirles durante estas últimas cuatro semanas. Más allá de saber si he alcanzado todas las metas propuestas para este mes o no, personalmente me preocupé más en poder compartirles todo lo que tenía planeado para este “Mes del Terror”, cosa que sí se logró, al menos en gran parte.

Before that, however, I’d like to mention that this month hasn’t been all that positive for the price of Hive’s native currency, the $HIVE token, which is currently trading between $0.046 and $0.045 cents. Success with Cuts and No Setbacks
But rather than worrying about the price of the $HIVE token—which will gradually recover between the end of this year and the beginning of next year—what really caught my attention this October was the amount of rewards I’ve received. For the two followers who rarely read this section, I want to remind you that I’ve been posting on Hive a bit more frequently than I did a year ago. Specifically, for the past two months, I’ve set out to post up to twice a day, but I’ve never managed to post every day of the week—at least not consistently.
This is because I live in Venezuela, where it’s common to go without electricity for up to 6 hours every day. But beyond that, my sleep schedule and my daily routine don’t always allow me to keep up with everything I’ve planned to post or share on Hive. Yes, I know it’s a matter of organization and more commitment, but because of that lack of commitment I’ve had, I’ve decided to post more often than before on the days I actually can. Obviously, I’ll do all this without neglecting the quality and attention I give to each and every one of my posts.

Para los dos seguidores que apenas leen esta sección, quiero recordarles que llevo ya tiempo publicando en Hive de forma un poco más frecuente que hace un año atrás. Específicamente hace ya dos meses que me he propuesto publicar hasta dos veces al día, pero nunca he logrado publicar todos los días de la semana, al menos no de manera puntual.
Esto último se debe a que vivo en Venezuela y aquí es común quedarme todos los días sin electricidad por un lapso de hasta 6 horas. Pero más allá de eso, es que tanto mi horario de sueño como todo lo que suelo hacer comúnmente no siempre me permiten cumplir con todo lo que tengo planeado publicar o compartir en Hive. Sí, sé que es cuestión de organización y más compromiso, pero por esa falta de compromiso que he tenido es que he decidido publicar más veces que antes los días que sí puedo publicar. Obviamente, todo esto sin descuidar la calidad y atención que le doy a todas y cada una de mis publicaciones.

Thanks to that, I've been able to grow a little faster, earn more rewards, and even double the earnings I get from my posts. But compared to other months, such as September, for example, this past October hasn’t gone as well for me in terms of author rewards. Ya el tema de los votos y las recompensas que recibo o no escapan de mi control, solo puedo seguir distribuyendo alrededor del 70% de dichas recompensas por autor para aumentar mi HP.

By the way, speaking of HP, I want to share that I’ve finally reached my goal of 10,000 HP in my Hive account. This was a goal I set for myself a few months ago when I had just become a Dolphin—it was my goal for the year. Even so, I think we still have a long way to go from here on out. Since I didn’t have a very lucky month in terms of votes and rewards, I wasn’t able to reach 11k this month, but I’m not too worried about it since we still have November and December to reach the coveted 12k HP.

I wish I could say the same about the Reputation of my Hive account, which has barely increased this October. We’ve barely moved past 75 Reputation all month, reaching just 75.46 Reputation as of this writing. This is due, once again, to the bad luck I had this October with votes and the underlying rewards. Unfortunately, no vote or trail helps boost my reputation—only Whales or Orcas with at least hundreds of thousands of HP can do that.
But anyway, unfortunately, you can’t control when or how often Whales will vote for you, no matter how hard you try to provide quality content—free of AI, free of plagiarism, and more frequently than anyone else. However, I’m not complaining about this; rather, I’m grateful that I’m still being considered for votes and ratings, despite the overall situation the ecosystem is currently facing. It’s up to me to remain consistent and frequent with my quality content, not to falter even for a single day, and to keep up the pace no matter the difficulties or lack of support I may face.
Ojalá poder decir lo mismo en lo que respecta a la Reputación de mi cuenta de Hive, la cual apenas ha aumentado en este mes de octubre. Prácticamente no hemos salido de los 75 de Reputación en todo este mes, consiguiendo apenas 75.46 de Reputación al momento de escribir esto. Esto se debe, una vez más, a la poca suerte que tuve este octubre con el tema de los votos y las recompensas subyacentes. Lamentablemente, cualquier voto o trail no ayuda a que suba de reputación, solo lo pueden lograr Ballenas o Orcas con centenares de miles de HP, como poco.
Pero bueno, lamentablemente no se puede decidir cuándo y cuántas veces las ballenas te pueden votar, sin importar lo mucho que te esfuerces por ofrecer contenido de calidad, sin IA, sin Plagio y con más frecuencia que cualquiera. Sin embargo, no me quejo de esto y agradezco más bien que aún me tengan en cuenta actualmente para ser votado y valorado, a pesar de la situación general que está pasando el ecosistema. Ya queda de mi parte seguir siendo constante y frecuente con mi contenido de calidad, no flaquear ni un día y mantener el ritmo sin importar las dificultades y la falta de apoyo que pueda llegar a tener.

My Goals for November
For this penultimate month of the year, I plan not only to maintain the frequency at which I’ve been posting on Hive lately, but even to increase it a bit more, if possible. I don’t plan to make any significant changes to the content I share, since that’s what I enjoy talking about and doing, but if I were to try out other niches or communities for a change of pace, that wouldn’t be a bad idea either. In any case, my goal for November is to reach 11,000 HP as soon as possible and then move on to the next milestone of 12k by the end of the year.
Now that I’ve added another digit to my HP, I feel it will be harder to grow from here on out, but I think that’s just a personal perception I have when dealing with such large numbers. Another goal I have for this November is to reach 76 Reputation on my account. Personally, I’d like to end the year with 78 Reputation, but I know that’s very difficult to achieve—especially if, over these last two months, I continue to receive support and votes at the same rate I did in October. So, well, I hope to achieve all my goals this month and bring you some good news soon.
Para este penúltimo mes del año tengo pensado no solo mantener la frecuencia de veces en las que he estado publicando en Hive últimamente, sino incluso aumentar un poco más, si es posible. No pienso hacer ningún cambio notable en cuanto al contenido que comparto ya que es lo que me gusta hablar y hacer, pero si es de probar con otros nichos o comunidades para variar un poco, tampoco estaría mal. Sea como sea, mi meta para este mes de noviembre es alcanzar los 11.000 de HP lo antes posible y seguir con la siguiente cifra de los 12k del año.
Ahora con un dígito más en mi HP siento que me será más difícil crecer más de ahora en adelante, pero creo que esto se debe a una percepción personal que tengo nomás con tantos números. Otra meta que tengo para este mes de noviembre es conseguir los 76 de Reputación en mi cuenta. Personalmente, me gustaría llegar a terminar el año con 78 de Reputación, pero sé que es algo muy difícil de lograr y más si estos últimos dos meses sigo teniendo la frecuencia de apoyo y votos que he tenido en el pasado mes de octubre.
