Hello, Splinterlands fans. Today I’m bringing you another chapter of my adventures in this entertaining digital game on the Hive Blockchain. This time, I want to talk about the results from the latest season in Splinterlands—in the Frontier, Modern, and Survival editions. That’s right—this past season, I’ve been more active in Ranked play than anywhere else. I also want to share with you the cards I won in one of the contests I’ve participated in recently as part of this great community of players.

En esta ocasión les quiero hablar sobre los resultados de esta última temporada en Splinterlands, tanto en la edición de Frontier como también en Modern y en Survival. Así es, en esta última temporada he estado más activo en el apartado de Ranked que en cualquier otra parte. También les quiero compartirles las cartas que me gané en uno de los concursos en los que he participado últimamente en esta gran comunidad de jugadores.

End of the Season
Let's start by talking about the results from this past season in Splinterlands, which, to be honest, weren't as good as I'd hoped they would be. Only in Modern did I have a slight edge in terms of wins and losses. But other than that, I guess the good news from this season is that I reached the highest rank in Frontier, which is Gold I. As for the rest, in Modern I reached Silver II, and in Survival—where I’ve only just started playing this season—I ended up at Bronze III.
Empecemos hablando de los resultados de esta última temporada en Splinterlands, los cuales no fueron tan favorables como esperaba que serían, la verdad. Apenas en Modern he tenido una pequeña diferencia en cuanto a victorias y derrotas. Pero de resto supongo que la buena noticia que podemos tener de esta temporada es que llegué al rango máximo en Frontier que es Gold I. De resto, en Modern he llegado a Silver II y en Survival donde apenas he empezado a jugar en esta temporada me quedé en Bronce III.

Getting back to the battles I’ve had this season, I just want to remind you that I’ve only been playing Splinterlands for a little over a couple of months, and I don’t have enough resources to buy all the cards I need to build a deck that will help me win every battle I play in Ranked mode. That’s why, in the case of Frontier, even though I reached Gold I, I had a total of 135 Wins and 148 Defeats. Once again, my losses outnumbered my wins, and because of this, I didn’t win anything.

Es por eso que, en el caso de Frontier, a pesar de llegar a Gold I, tuve un total de 135 Victorias y 148 Derrotas. On the other hand, in Modern it’s a little different, since I had 68 Wins and 52 Losses—a difference that isn’t huge, but is still somewhat notable. And well, in Modern I did earn some GLINTS as a reward—about 4,590 GLINTS, to be exact. Finally, as for Survival, I’ve barely played at all this season—I’ve only played a couple of matches, which is where those 2 Wins come from, but not much else. I’d like to be able to play more Survival in future seasons.
Por otro lado, en el caso de Modern es un poco distinto ya que obtuve 68 Victorias y 52 Derrotas, una diferencia que no es tan grande, pero sí un tanto notable. Y bueno, en Modern sí que obtuve algunos GLINTS como recompensa, por ejemplo, unos 4.590 GLINTS para ser exactos. Por último, en cuanto a Survival no he participado casi nada en esta temporada, apenas he hecho un par de partidas, de las cuales pueden ver esas 2 Victorias ahí, pero poco más. Me gustaría poder jugar más en Survival en temporadas posteriores.

Level-Up and Jolius Blast Level 2
To achieve the results I’m hoping for in the coming seasons, I need better cards, so I decided to level up certain cards that I earned in some contests held by the Splinterlands community. In this case, it was our fellow player @iblast who gave me, as a reward, another copy of the famous Jolius Blast (Djinn) and five copies of another card that I’ll tell you more about later.

But first, let’s talk about the Jolius Blast (Djinn). I managed to collect the five copies needed to fuse them and level it up to Level 2—something I’ve actually wanted to do for a little while now. Now that this is done, we have our Level 2 Jolius Blast with 13 mana points, 12 health points, 3 speed points, and 3 melee attack points. It also has a new ability, in addition to Void, called Enrage.

The next card I received as a gift from Jolius is a card from the Conclave Arcana set, with a RARE rarity and the Neutral element, called Arena Fanatic (Human), of which I also received five copies. So, since I had enough copies of this card, I didn’t think twice and decided to fuse them as well to upgrade it to Level 2. It now has 5 mana points, 2 armor points, 4 health points, 2 speed points, and 1 ranged attack point. This card doesn’t have any abilities, by the way.
