Hello, Splinterlands fans. I’m back again today for a new episode where I’ll share my “adventures” in this awesome Hive-based digital game. This time, I don’t have much to share since we’re just getting started with the new season, and I still have a lot to figure out and learn as I adapt to the changes in the Ranked/Modern section. So I’m just bringing you the results from the last Brawl I played in, a pack I opened, and a few cards I bought.
Hola, fanáticos de Splinterlands. Estoy de regreso un día más para un nuevo capítulo donde les comparto mis “aventuras” en este grandioso juego digital de Hive. En esta ocasión no les tengo mucho por contar debido a que apenas estamos empezando con la nueva temporada y tengo cosas que entender y aprender a adaptarme con lo que respecta a los cambios en la sección de Ranked/Modern. Así que solamente les traigo los resultados del último Brawl en el que participé, un sobre que abrí y unas cartas que me compré.

Losing in Brawls and Earning SPS
Let’s start by talking about the Brawls, which I’ve been trying to get back into lately, but unfortunately, I haven’t had much luck winning there. Of course, I know that regardless of the results, just participating alongside the rest of my Guild members (Bokura no Digital World) is enough to earn SPS and MERITS rewards. However, that doesn’t change the fact that I had a really hard time losing one match after another—especially since I rarely win in each Brawl. This last time, I only managed 2 Wins and 7 Losses. As for rewards, I earned 124 MERITS and 4.41 in SPS.
Empecemos hablándoles de las Brawls, donde he intentado regresar últimamente, pero lamentablemente no he tenido tanta suerte para ganar allí. Claro, sé que indiferentemente de los resultados, entiendo que con solo participar junto con el resto de miembros de mi Guild (Bokura no Digital World) es suficiente para poder obtener recompensas en SPS y MERITS. Sin embargo, esto no quita el hecho de lo mal que lo pasé perdiendo en una partida tras otra y eso que son contadas las que me dan en cada Brawl. En esta última oportunidad solo conseguí 2 Victorias y 7 Derrotas. En cuanto a recompensas, obtuve 124 MERITS y 4.41 en SPS.

By the way, ever since I started playing Splinterlands, I haven’t told you about the SPS I’ve accumulated in my account. It’s not like I have that many—I started from very low and have only earned them by participating in these Brawls. But anyway, I currently have no fewer than 271 SPS Staked in my account. From the very beginning, I’ve always been told how important it is to have SPS in your account, so that’s what I’ve been doing.

Tampoco es que tenga muchos ya que empecé desde muy bajo y solamente los he ganado participando en estas Brawls. Pero bueno, actualmente poseo una cantidad no menor a 271 SPS en Stake en mi cuenta. Desde el principio siempre me han dicho lo importante que es tener SPS en tu cuenta, así que eso he estado haciendo.

30th Starter Pack Opening
Wow… I’ve already opened 30 Starter Packs, counting this latest one, and I’m surprised to realize how many I’ve managed to open in such a short time. Well, I’m sure this number won’t seem like much to many others, since there are people who spend a lot of money on packs—and not just one type, but all kinds. But since I don’t have the financial resources to do that, the most I can do is spend the little I earn from these posts and reinvest it in booster packs and cards. So, in the meantime, I hope to find another surprise like the ones I’ve shared with you before.

Pero como yo no tengo los recursos económicos para hacer eso, lo mucho que puedo llegar a hacer es invertir lo poco que gano en estas publicaciones y reinvertirlo en sobres y cartas. Finally, I decided to try buying a couple of RARE cards in the Shop/Rewards section, where I can purchase cards, chests, and more with GLINTS. Since I ran out of DECs buying nothing but Starter Packs, I thought I’d try my luck with these Standard Rare cards. The first RARE card I bought and opened was a Water-element Unit called Surgehammer (Djinn), with 6 mana, 5 health, 3 speed, and 2 melee attack. This card also has two abilities called Flying and Opportunity.
