Hello, Splinterlands fans. We’re halfway through the week, and at the same time, we’re halfway through the season in this amazing Web3 video game. So today, I’d like to tell you about the latest “adventures” I’ve been having while showing you my progress. We’ve got good news in both Modern and Brawls, not to mention the constant openings of Starter Packs—and I’ve even decided to buy a few cards I needed for my deck. That’s right—we’ve got plenty to talk about today.

Getting Started with Modern
After the updates to the Ranked/Modern section—including the addition of Brackets and the renaming of leagues, among other changes—I thought I’d never be able to make progress or even move out of the division I was in until very recently. Moving up a division in Modern was quite a challenge, starting with the limitations in the leagues and the limited variety and number of cards I owned. That’s why I decided this past week to focus on getting the cards I needed. As I write this, I’m currently in Division 8 of Silver in Modern.

When I recently moved up a division, I found out that I had earned several interesting rewards. Among the rewards, I earned about 1,000 GLINTS, as well as some Conclave Arcana edition cards. Among the cards I received as rewards are three COMMON Units and one RARE Unit that I already had in my collection. These cards are: the Earth Unit called Stonebind Matron (Canisan), the Water Unit called Surgeblade (Djinn), the Death Unit called Grim Bonewhip (Dwarf), and the RARE Water Unit called Torrent Sniper (Avian).
Al llegar a subir de división recientemente me encontré con la noticia de que había obtenido varias recompensas interesantes. Entre las recompensas me gané unos 1000 GLINTS, además de algunas cartas de edición Cónclave Arcana. Entres las cartas que me dieron de recompensa están tres Unidades COMUNES y una Unidad RARA que ya tenía en mi colección. Estas cartas son: la Unidad de Tierra llamada Stonebind Matron (Canisan), la Unidad de Agua llamada Surgeblade (Djinn), la Unidad de Muerte llamada Grim Bonewhip (Dwarf) y la Unidad RARA de Agua llamada Torrent Sniper (Avian).

Thirty-Third Starter Pack Opening
Anyway, I’ll start with the most recent news: before I finally managed to move up a division in Modern, I continued my usual routine of opening Starter Packs in the hope of getting more new cards—and, who knows, maybe a few more Archons that I need for my collection. As for that last part, I wasn’t disappointed this time—I got a very pleasant surprise. That’s right, I pulled an Archon from this latest pack of Conclave Arcana, which was honestly the only interesting thing I got.

More Common Cards
Another thing I did before moving up a division in Modern was to buy some common cards from the Conclave Arcana set in the Shop/Rewards section. I did this with the intention of bringing you another installment featuring only cards I’ve obtained by opening packs and common cards. I also bought some epic cards in the Market section, but I’ll show you those later. Now that I’ve managed to move up a division and earned some cards as a reward, I realized that the cards I received were the same ones I got in Rewards.
Otra cosa que hice también antes de subir de división en Moderno es comprar algunas cartas comunes de edición Cónclave Arcana en la sección de Shop/Rewards. Winning in Brawls
Another thing I wanted to share with you is how I did in the latest Splinterlands Guild Brawl. I almost forgot to write this, so I’m adding it as an edit to the post. I’m really excited to show you the results of the battles I fought in this Brawl, where I ended up with 9 wins and 0 losses. As a reward, I earned 643 MERITS and 17.78 SPS.
Otra cosa que quería compartirles es cómo me ha ido en la última Brawl de Guilds de Splinterlands. Casi se me olvida escribirles esto así que estoy escribiéndolo sobre la edición del post. Me emociona mucho mostrarles los resultados de las batallas que hice en esta Brawl, de las cuales conseguí 9 Victorias y 0 Derrotas. Como recompensa obtuve 643 MERITS y 17.78 SPS.

The last thing I did before moving up a division in Modern was to buy some cards I needed both for my collection and for my deck for upcoming battles and Daily Missions. I decided to buy both cards I needed by going to the Splinterlands Market and checking their prices. The cards I’m talking about are both Units, of EPIC rarity and the Fire element, called Ash Archer (Elf) and Echelon (Rodentian).
Lo último que hice, antes de subir de división en Moderno, fue comprar unas cartas que me hacían falta tanto en la colección como también en mi mazo para las próximas batallas y Misiones Diarias. Decidí comprarme ambas cartas que necesitaba yendo al Market de Splinterlands y viendo en qué precio estaban. Las cartas que les digo son ambas Unidades, de rareza ÉPICA y del elemento Fuego llamadas Ash Archer (Elf) y Echelon (Rodentian).
