Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this lovely community on this Wednesday, halfway through the week.
Caminando por el pequeño gran municipio San Francisco, fui por primera vez a la plaza de la Libertad donde muchas de las personas van a recrearse, siempre llevan a los niños a jugar y disfrutar en este lugar es muy amplio, esta plaza lleva este nombre de libertad, posee algunos personajes enmarcados en esto, también se encuentra la gran concha acustica donde se hacen muchas actividades, recreativas, culturales y sociales importantes para todos nosotros.
Whilst walking through the small but wonderful town of San Francisco, I visited the Plaza de la Libertad for the first time. It is a place where many people go to relax; they always take their children there to play and have fun, as it is a very spacious area. The square is named ‘Plaza de la Libertad’ (Freedom Square) and features several framed portraits of historical figures. It is also home to the large open-air amphitheatre, where many important recreational, cultural and social activities take place for all of us.
Desde este punto camine desde la avenida 40 especialmente en la plaza San Francisco de Asís fue justamente dos cuadras, bastante rápidas pero el sol estaba bastante fuerte pero esto no fue un impedimiento para caminar y poder recorrer el lugar, lo malo del lugar es que tiene ausencia de lugares verdes más que todo es un lugar lleno de muchas estructuras, como fuenten de agua, pisos de cemento y cada uno de las fuentes tiene unos de estos personales de la libertad.
From this point, I walked along Avenida 40, particularly around Plaza San Francisco de Asís; it was exactly two blocks – a fairly quick walk – but the sun was quite strong. However, this didn’t stop me from walking and exploring the area. the downside of the place is that it lacks green spaces; it’s mostly full of structures, such as fountains and concrete pavements, and each of the fountains features one of these ‘Freedom’ statues.
Ahora bien en esta concha acustica que tiene una arquitectura totalmente semicircular, un teatro, donde se presentan todas las personas que están en el Ateneo se forma a nivel cultural, para poder formarse en la música, bailes tradicionales o nacionalistas, como también obra de teatro, justamente en noviembre y Diciembre se celebran las ferias y este lugar se llena de muchas personas que celebran mucho en este espacio cómodamente, es un lugar que debería de tener mas actividades culturales por lo menos una vez a la semana.
Now, in this acoustic shell – which has a completely semi-circular design – there is a theatre where everyone at the Ateneo can take part in cultural activities, such as learning music, traditional or national dances, as well as theatre. In November and December in particular, the fairs are held and this venue fills up with large crowds who celebrate enthusiastically in this comfortable space; It is a venue that ought to host more cultural activities, at least once a week.
Por último vi la gran estructuras de las instalaciones del Ateneo del Municipio San Francisco, donde diariamente en su interior dan clases de danzas a las niñas y adolescentes, entre otras actividades más, me encanto mucho la cultura que transmite este lugar es un sitio bastante pintoresco, un espacio fascinante, apesar de que las personas no le tomen mucha importancia a esos lugares, esos espacios aportan lo mejor de la ciudad.
Finally, I saw the impressive buildings of the San Francisco Municipal Cultural Centre, where dance classes are held daily for young girls and teenagers, amongst other activities. I was really taken with the culture this place conveys; it is a rather picturesque spot, a fascinating space. Although people may not attach much importance to such places, these spaces bring out the very best in the city.
