So, I took the opportunity to visit a friend and have a chat over coffee, catching up on the latest gossip. I took some photos from her apartment building; the temperature had finally dropped, so it was pleasant even out on the terrace. While I was at her place, I noticed some old furniture that really captivated me. I love antique wooden furniture, though unfortunately, I don't own much of it myself—it’s expensive and hard to transport. There was a sort of dark wood storage unit that I absolutely loved, as well as an old sideboard filled with keepsakes—it was truly beautiful, exactly the kind of furniture I like. Anyway, we chatted for a while, and on my way home—once the rain had let up a bit—I took some stunning photos of the sky and the surrounding area; in my opinion, the sky looks amazing when it rains. I love the rain! And winter and autumn, too!

My husband and I didn't have any specific plans for this evening; we just wanted a quiet night in. He’s still dealing with a bit of back pain, so he spent the day taking it easy—sharpening the kitchen knives and tidying up the pantry—though he did get a little bored. For dinner, we decided to treat ourselves to some fried food; sometimes you just need to indulge a little. I made fried cod sticks and, of course, the obligatory french fries—after all, who doesn't love french fries? I think we all do. Later, we decided to watch something lighthearted and maybe a bit romantic, so we chose the Korean drama Lovely Runner—it’s really cute! Now we’re going to relax on the sofa for a bit, since tomorrow is going to be a busier Sunday.
