[Movie] Why Did I Get Married (Romance)||My Review

The diverse testimonies we see everyday regarding marriage is somehow funny but really confusing how it works.

Two people get along with each other then after marriage we see a whole new side of them we've never seen before, lovers acting like strangers that are still yet to know each other properly. I imagine all these things and it kept me asking questions I haven't received a convincing answer yet. I mean, I've deduced some point to why some of the dramas in marriage are occurring but still can't fathom some of them.

If you ask the wife she'll say her husband is the problem and the husband will push all the blame on the wife. This interesting movie highlighted so many important parts of marriage singles needs to know before getting married and even couples that are married need to realize so they can enhance their marriages.

Why Did I Get Married| Tyler Perry, Sharon Leal Romance movie dishes out various problems that comes with marriages and lasting solutions to save your marriage. I think most of the time we see two couples having disagreement doesn't necessarily mean they're both bad people, sometimes it's the only way the issue can be sorted out between the both of them.

It takes effort for two separate people to get along with each other and agree to walk a path together. I don't think there can be any marriage where the two couples never had disagreements throughout their lives together on earth, "Why Did I Get Married" is a movie that helps reshape your mind to how you can effectively handle marital issues as the man of the house or the woman in the house.

I've got some relationship experiences and I'd say Sheila and her husband's encounter was the most impactful side for me. It's somehow relatable to most of my experiences. I think Sheila's husband "Mike" had the worst experience, together with his ending all was a total mess for him. Aside Mike couldn't control his desires, he had a poor judgemental spirit. He is the one that couldn't see his fault quickly and readjust to the right thing.

Unlike the other three couples, they fought, misunderstood each other but never made the decision to leave each other for whatever reason, they were ready to work it out. Patricia and her husband had good tolerance for each other. They attend to their issues in precision, action and emotional sensitivity.

What interests me about the movie is how four different couples come together to plan historic events purposely to strengthen their marriages and relationship between themselves. I think this is one of the take home from the movie. At least once a year, couples should learn to take vacations where they go and spend time with each other in love, understanding and with purpose. Dianne almost ruined her marriage because she failed to prioritize even the most important moment that means a lot for her and her family, she prioritized her work so much that she is emotionally absent for her husband and their daughter.

Spending time with each other is important no matter how busy the both couples can get, if they don't create time for each other, they are simultaneously creating pores for misunderstandings to come into their marriages.

Back to Sheila's husband and his uncalculated decision. He didn't just bring in his mistress to their vacation, he disrespected his wife right on the flight aboard to their destination. Mike disgracefully asked his wife to drive down to Cabin, the vacation venue which took her about a day through the sunny, cold and ice weather conditions to get there, all in the name he's fed up with her.

He had a problem with her body size but didn't think about how to solve the issue rather how to completely run away from it. He was so big on the outside that he forgot to pay attention to the most important thing which is the inside. He humiliated his wife, cheated on her and was so comfortable to divorce her as if that wasn't enough, he took virtually all she had and left for his mistress which later, became exactly the opposite of what he needed.

His wife had a perfect encounter with Troy from the Sheriff police department in Colorado. She stayed there in Colorado after their vacation ended due to all four couples secrets exposed on the table. The other three couples went to fix their marriages but coconut-headed Mike chose to divorce and humiliate his wife into the hands of the beholder, Troy. The sweet part about the ending was that Mike regretted it to the fullest while others went and fixed their marriages to their to exactly how they wanted it to be for themselves. Mike became a housemaid for his mistress and that gladdens my heart at the end:)
