Working From Comfort zone Vs Office-based Job.

First off, I don't know if there's any job that you can take away stress from it, all jobs require some form of effort for you to be able to accomplish desired results. Working from home doesn't take away the stress involved in labour, same as the office. I think the most important criteria we look out for when looking for a job is the pay and how less stressful the job is.

I'm pretty sure there are people that will prefer to wake up in the morning, bath save move straight to their respective offices than seat at home on their chairs or bed and let their brains and eyes do the work. I think the major differences is the parts of the body we strain at various levels. Some offices provide workers with social amenities to help enhance their working experiences in the organisation.

We have some offices that provides workers with beds, light refreshments etc, it's just the matter of where you find more conveniences. I can leave my home where we don't have AC to go to an office where there temperature is conductive for workers to work without having to bother about the extreme weather conditions around my country sometimes.

In as much as we have people that don't want to go to offices to work, we have people that find those places more convenient for them to thrive in everyday. The situational condition of my country made life look like the average Nigerian prefers to work online whereas the main causes of these conditional changes is neglected. If there's going to be availablity of jobs with good payments for the average citizen I don't think people will choose working online over going to those offices to work.

Some of the problems that comes with working from the office is having to submit under some working principles of the company. The vulnerability that comes with working for a boss is something I don't subscribe to. You are liable to loose your job at anytime and under any condition as long as that is what the head of offices have decided over your matter. Some companies can be so strict to the point that you get placed to work under harsh circumstances you might be going through. I think these among some few reasons constitute to the verse majority that prefer to work from their houses.

The big question is what becomes of the office-based jobs that require real people taking real actions to make things work out. It'll be a problem if majority of the doctors today decides to quit their jobs and work from homes. It'll be a problem if majority of the farmers starts trooping into the internet to work remotely.

At the end of the day, we need balance in every sector of labour both online and offline. While I don't see that kind of problem befalling us anytime in the future, I think people will continually go for the part that convenience then the most.
