"My father,which gave them me, Is greater than all".
Greater than the son,Greater than the holy spirit. Greater than everybody. There are three distinct and different persons. The lord jesus christ is in river Jordan the same way the holy spirit which came from heaven and abode upon him, but the father in heaven in whom I am well pleased and that was testified to by the apostle Peter. Second Peters chapter 1 verse 16 says, For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming to our lord jesus christ, but we're eyewitness of his majesty. Verse 17 says, For he received from God the father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, this is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. Verse 18 says, And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
This is what I'm trying to say, they scenario there proved that they are three distinct persons. And to prove further that they are three distinct person, they are different from each other let read the book of john chapter 14 verse 28 says, ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, i go unto the father: for my father is greater than i.
You see, if ye loved me, ye would rejoice, said lord jesus christ to his disciples " because I said, I go unto to father" if he is the father unto where is he going to? He is not father, he is the son and he is telling the disciples if ye loved me, ye would rejoice, "my father greater than i". Is there a need for the lord jesus christ to say that the father is greater than him. That will ne saying something which is not logical. The father is different from jesus christ because" the father is greater than I" and that will be proven by you, if by luck, or maybe, by justice you will obtain internal life you will see something at the end.
