Keys To The Revolution.

Abandoning stealth after finding Beshi's body, Basim and Ali resolved to end the Garrison's hold. I cleared the skies for Enkidu, assassinated the warden to retrieve the cell key, and eliminated surrounding guards with explosive pottery and air strikes. Rejoining Ali, we defeated heavy soldiers and freed the imprisoned rebels.

With the time for hiding over, we abandoned the shadows to openly eradicate the surrounding guards. We eliminated the guards around while our main target already escaped to his cover hole.

Stepping past the bodies, Ali ran to Beshi's fallen form, finding him drenched in blood and water. While sorrow hung over the scene, Ali’s grief quickly turned into pure rage.

Basim advised waiting outside, but Ali flatly refused, insisting that they push forward immediately to end the garrison's tyranny. The dual objectives were set. Basim would hunt down Warlord Wasif, while Ali would rally the captives.

Reaching the Great Garrison cell block, I found Beshi's surviving rebels locked behind a reinforced iron door. One of the prisoners called out through the bars, revealing that the site warden held the key.

I climbed up the nearby structures to locate the target, encountering a nest of archers on the roof alongside the marksman who had been suppressing Enkidu. I assassinated both marksmen on the spot, freeing Enkidu to scout from above once again.

From the rooftops, I spotted the warden patrolling with a heavy security detail. Positioned directly above him, I held off on striking until a nearby guard turned his back to create a clear window.

After timing the drop perfectly, I executed an air assassination on the warden and immediately transitioned into a chain assassination to drop his companion.

After retrieving the cell key, a trailing guard discovered the bodies and stepped in to investigate. Having already regained the high ground, I dropped down with another clean air strike to take him out.

Two more guards remained in the courtyard below; I threw a knife at a hanging explosive pot above them, detonated the container to incinerate one guard before dropping down to air assassinate the survivor.

Having the key in hand, I returned to the prison block to meet up with Ali. Fresh patrols had moved into the area near Beshi's death site, but Ali burst from cover to engage them directly.

I stepped in to finish off the light infantry before joining Ali to break through the armor of a heavy soldier. With the courtyard entirely cleared, I unlocked the heavy cell doors, setting the rebels free to follow Ali out of the garrison.

Until next time, happy gaming.

Did you plan the air assassination on the warden before reaching the rooftop, or did you lucklily have the opportunity while scouting? The timing was really good,.

I was surprised that freeing the rebels became the final goal after everything that happened to Beshi. Seeing the prisoners finally leave the garrison with Ali gave the whole mission a satisfying ending.

  • I did not like seeing Beshi's body because it made the mission feel much darker. His death also made Ali act recklessly, which could have caused problems. Still, it gave the story more emotional weight.
