Efosa had three sisters and a father. Efosa father was ill and he was about to die, and so he called on Efosa and gave him his last words, that he should take care of his sisters so that men outside would not take advantage of them. This was the last wish of Efosa father. After that, Efosa father died. Now Efosa has taken it upon himself, that no man will even come close to his sisters, talk more of taking advantage of them. Right from the beginning, Efosa took this the wrong way. Efosa began to place rules and regulations.
A few months after the death of their father, Efosa called a meeting and set rules and regulations that everyone would abide by. Actually, the firstborn was very stubborn. But the second and third born were a little bit calm. But Efosa was struggling with the firstborn, Stella, so much. After Efosa had set the rules, he began to treat them so harshly. This is the part that Efosa couldn't understand.
He treated his three sisters so harshly, without love, thinking that he was doing the right thing. His father had asked him to guide them so that they might not fall into the hands of wicked men. But all his thinking was: if he treated them with force and bitterness, they would be afraid of him and they would do what he said. But Efosa got that wrong. The last born, Obe, was pretending. She was going to church just for Efosa to let her breathe and move around. Every time she went to church, she always branched to see a man, and that man was nobody else but his friend.
Obe was the only person Efosa put his trust in more than the other two sisters. Not knowing that she had something doing. The firstborn, Stella, he could not do much with her because she was very stubborn. She frustrated him and he also challenged her, and they always fought. And also, Mary was seeing a man, but always hiding it from Efosa because she knew he would not even allow her to go out. Whenever she stepped out for her games, she would branch to meet a man also, the same way.
Efosa was following them everywhere, making sure that they didn't go astray. Anywhere they tried to go, he would go with them when he suspected they were trying to go to another place different from where they said they were going. And all this he was doing harshly just for them to be afraid. But still, they did what they liked.
This has gotten out of hand. So they decided to do a protest. This part is very funny, actually. They did that outside, protesting that they needed freedom because Efosa was overreacting over their lives and taking charge of their lives.
As time went on, there was a certain time when Mary, the second born, just fell down, and they took her to the hospital and discovered that she was pregnant. Efosa was very disappointed, and he was amazed, wondering how this had happened. But he didn't know that his attitude was also affecting them. He thought that was just a mistake. This is how, when they were having a conversation, all of them were in the living room. The last one, Obe, stepped out to go meet someone, and they realized that she was also pregnant.
Efosa was so disappointed in himself. This is when Stella came to speak to him calmly, and he listened to her because he was heartbroken at that moment. She told him that they missed their brother, that he had changed totally. And he told her that he thought being harsh could make them not go astray and that investigating their lives would help, but rather, he did that wrong. And so, she told him that advising them with love is more than acting with violence. It was very good that the persons who were responsible for the pregnancies of his sisters were good men. This is when Efosa understood that being violent to his sisters wasn't the best option, but treating them with love and giving advice to them was the best thing to do.
