STAND FIRM IN FAITH

‎ ‎Hello amazing people, I greet you all in Jesus' name. My name is @patience37, and this is my first time posting in this beautiful community. ‎ ‎I’m happy to be here in the Kingdom community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share and learn with other believers. ‎ ‎I’ll be sharing some thoughts about faith. ‎ ‎First of all, what is faith? ‎ ‎Faith is trusting and believing in God, even when you cannot see or understand everything. It is very difficult to develop faith in the Lord because it has to do with believing in things not seen. But as believers, we need to develop faith because the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. ‎ ‎1 Corinthians 16:13 NIV ‎“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” ‎ ‎See what the Bible says in this place. It can help us to stand firm in faith and to be strong. ‎ ‎The real message from this topic is that we should be powerful, not to give up when life becomes difficult. And when we never give up, it means there is an amount of faith that is developed in us that is making us push. Faith is very important in our life as believers. The Bible also encourages us that we should put on the full armor of God so that when the days of evil come, we may be able to stand our ground. So we should put on the armor of God. We should stand firm in God and also in faith. Because this race is not easy. Situations may come. Temptations may come. Days of difficulties may come. But the Bible says we should put on the full armor of God so that we may be able to stand our ground when those things come. ‎ ‎So when there is no faith in our life, when we do not develop this faith that the Lord is talking about, when evil days come, we may fall. For the Lord also said we live by faith and not by sight. Sometimes things may look impossible, but faith means trusting God even when we cannot see the answer yet. So the impossibilities will become possible when we have faith in God. What we need to do is just to come close to God and trust in Him, and everything will become possible for us. ‎ ‎In all that, Psalm chapter 46, verses 1 and 2, gives us this courage that God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble; therefore, we will not fear. I love this book so much because it has given us hope. We believers. God has given us the assurance that He is our refuge and strength. So whenever we think we are weak, we should come back to this very passage in the Bible to quicken us. He will give us strength when we trust in Him, and even in times of trouble, we are not to be afraid because He will guide us. ‎ ‎When troubles come, our confidence should be in God rather than in our circumstances. We should not think of what is bothering us, but rather, our confidence should be in God. ‎ ‎Image source
