Turns out not good enough.

I just came back from work today, and I'm a little bit tired. I was reflecting on what happened at work today. It appears that our company is suggesting a location to open a branch. So, I suggested a location based on my knowledge. At that moment, it appeared that everyone was impressed by it. The way they reacted made me feel like I had come up with something really good, and honestly, I was happy about it. ‎ ‎But after some time, it's sad that they couldn't go with it again because it's not suitable. This is not as casual as it sounds. I even got a promotion just because of suggesting that location. But now that they are not working with it, I don't know if they are going to demote me from the promotion or let me be. But whichever way, it's all good. ‎ ‎It's just making me remember all the ideas I've had in the past. Sometimes, I have some ideas that I would think, "Oh, this is boom. Wow, this is so good." I would become so convinced about them that I wouldn't even think there was anything wrong with them. But after some time, or maybe sometimes a couple of years, I would now realise that the idea I was thinking was very good was actually the dumbest idea. ‎ ‎The whole thing is just being funny to me right now. And so, it kept me wondering why it is that way. Or maybe it's because, over the years, I get to have more exposure, and I get to outgrow my previous ideas. Things I couldn't see before become obvious to me. ‎ ‎So please I need advice should I confront my company first to know their decision on whether they are living me in the position or should I simply keep quiet and see what ever turns out?
