For some of you, this title will sound very familiar... For others, maybe not (keep reading to find why yes and why not)...

I'm not a huge fan of football, but I do like to watch a good football (soccer) match... I had my favorite team when I was a kid, but when I moved to motorsport and Formula 1, I learned that you can have more favorites... 😃 It is more enjoyable to watch when you are not blinded by subjectivity... I suppose that is valid for different aspects of life, and getting into the extremes in anything usually doesn't finish well... Not just for us, but also for our surroundings...
As I was in the "recovery mode" glued to bed, I had plenty of time for watching TV... In our home, the TV devices lasted over a decade, as we aren't using them too much... lol... Occasionally watching 1-2 movies per week and that's it, but when I'm sick (or recovering in this case), I binge-watch TV shows... That's how I watched 3 TV shows in the last 30 days... Firstly, Young Sherlock, then Silo, and in the end, Ted Lasso, from which I "stole" the title of this post... I found out about Young Sherlock by simple research on Amazon Prime... I think @alessandrawhite played the soundtrack from Silo in the CWH session and made me curious about it...
And Ted Lasso got a new season out, and I saw a couple of reviews here on HIVE, which again made me curious to search about it more... When I saw it's a multiple Primetime Emmy winner, I had to check it out... The TV show is about football, but only on the surface... When you dive deeper, you will go through a rollercoaster of emotions with the main characters... A lot of laughs, maybe some tears, but definitely an enjoyable time spent... This kind of show is the one that can "get into you" and maybe even change you forever! I know, those are a bit bold words, but still, I do believe it can have that effect...
Now, back to the thumbnail photo... Another football reference! As my wife went to visit her parents, I stayed at home with our son, who expressed a desire to go to a football match... As we had been planning that for a long, long time, this was a perfect moment to do it!
The local team just got promoted back to the higher rank, and it was playing the first home football match of the season! They are playing in the second division, but knowing Spaniards, they don't care which league it is as long as there is a good match! And this one was! I took the photo before the beginning, when we were discussing tactics for the match... The official line-up was out, and both teams had an offensive strategy! You know what that means? A lot of goals!
As our local team just got promoted, nobody has too high expectations about it... The first goal is to "survive" and stay in this league, and to achieve that, matches at HOME are important to win! Unfortunately, this time they have failed, but at least they collected 1 point for a draw! The final result was 2-2!
What was most important was, is that we had a great time! The atmosphere in the stadium was great, and despite not being a huge football fan, my son told me that I was among the loudest and most passionate in our part of the tribune... lol... 😂
