Let me share some new stuff for this week of #threetunetuesday, that I've been acquainted with recently. The artists names worth your attention: New Composers, Plastic Bertrand, Nouvelle Vague, Agatha Kristie - but this time, the videos mean no less than the songs itself.

Should officially confess, I'm critically unfamiliar with the back catalogue of the New Composers duo. I discovered this video and song just today — 37 years after its release! But the music hasn't aged at all. Art from St. Petersburg is always new, always relevant and refreshing, always handy. By the way: did you know there exist two types of people: some prefer to sit lazily on the pipes and smoke, while others prefer to blow into a saxophone?
С творчеством дуэта 'Новые Композиторы' я сам знаком преступно плохо; этот клип и песню открыл только сегодня - 37 лет спустя после его появления! Но музыка не устарела. Искусство из Санкт-Петербурга всегда ново, всегда актуально и освежающе, всегда в руку. Кстати, а вы знаете что все люди делятся на два типа: одни предпочитают лениво сидеть на трубах и курить, а другие дуют в саксофон?

I'd been familiar with this French pop song for quite some time, having heard the Nouvelle Vogue's cover — I liked it enough thus developed no interest in checking out the original 1977 version. Then good old YouTube decided to fix this flaw—and in such a gorgeous way! The melody is masterfully edited to a video clip from the 1956 film "Don't Knock The Rock." Appreciate it, vintage. People have forgotten how to do that now. It's probably no longer possible to simply enjoy life so naturally, after all the crap we've been subjected to over the past 50 years. Something just stuck with me every time.
Я давно знаком с этим французским шлягером, спасибо кавер-версии Nouvelle Vogue. Он мне нравился ровно настолько, что интереса к оригинальной версии 1977 года не возникло. Но добрый дядюшка ЮТ решил исправить эту недоработку. Мелодия виртуозно смонтирована с нарезкой из фильма 1956 года 'Don’t Knock The Rock'. Винтаж, цените. Сейчас такое делать разучились. Да просто и радоваться жизни так просто и естественно наверное уже никак не возможно, после всего дерьма которое на нас вылили за последние 50 лет. Что-то да прилипало с каждым разом.

The song title 'Hysteria' matches perfectly to this fantastic videofeed that arrived from the silent film of the Expressionist era. I'm surprised the video got seven likes only! The song itself is a bit mesmerizing.
